Godzilla's design has notable improvements

1> Godzilla appears much bulkier than ever before,

2> The dorsal spines are bigger and more jagged and it looks far better than the G14 design,

3> Godzilla's feet looks better with a talon/claw like appearance and it doesn't look like elephant feet anymore.

It has been brought up already that Mothra has the biggest departures from the original/traditional design but I think it's for the better. It looks like Mothra can actually hold her own in a melee combat. The hooks gives her better chance to inflict damage in a straight up brawl.

The design is also a bit reminiscent of the MUTOs, no??. Maybe Mothra's origin has something to do with the MUTOs.

Everything is looking fantastic. I am absolutely thrilled with Ghidorah's design, Rodan too. Mothra I'm ok with overall, but I do prefer the older body type.

As for Godzilla, I still like the body and colors, but not the head design. I wanted a more reptilian shaped head, but I will try to like it this time.


P.S.

That goddamn King Ghidorah figure is probably going to be 200 bucks.

Eh, the one he did for Cloverfield Paradox really underwhelmed me (though I don't blame him as much since that movie was such a pile of crap).

He was right though, this sounds like it'll be his biggest score yet. The choir addition to the theme gives me chills.

Idk if you play video games but if you want to hear what McCreary is capable of with a choir go listen to his score for the recent God of War.
