Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) - Part 1

Although we've only seen them as toys, I'm very pleased with the designs. I particularly like King Ghidorahs wings, the size makes him look even more intimidating, and the bat like design gives off a sense of the demonic.

There are rumours that we won't get the new trailer this week to die the Marvel onslaught. This is unfortunate.

If the Marvel story is true & they release A4 & CM this week, the KOTM does, unfortunately, have the potential to be lost in the hype.

The artwork looks really cool.

Ghidorah is insane - I can't wait to see this beast on an IMAX screen! There is a risk of KoTM being completely overwhelming, I hope they balance the fights and destruction with due attention to the characters.

I really hope KoTM doesn't get overshadowed, as much as I love the MCU, Godzilla has always had a special place in my heart growing up as a kid. More importantly, I hope the movie does well in all areas. Godzilla as a character deserves to be held in the same regard as Superman, Iron Man, Thor, Batman, etc.

If KoTM and Godzilla vs. Kong can kill it at the BO, we're there.

It is different in the sense that KOTM will be up against an all time behemoth in A4 and a potential breakout in the making in the form of Captain Marvel while KOTM had to contend with Aquaman, Shazam & Glass during SDCC and I believe the former is a much more daunting propostion.

KOTM did very well back during SDCC. It topped several polls conducted to determine which movie had the best trailer during the Hall H presentation.

Michael Dougherty said this week, so until he recounts his statement i'm still going with this week (Ie any time from today to Sunday). We know that Cap Marvel is coming tonight, so i don't expect A4 for at least a few days (thurs or Friday). In fact if this turns out to be the case a Tues or Wed release for GKOTM sounds plausible.

New report suggesting Spiderman Far From Home trailer also this week. Maybe Avengers pushed back to next week, as Wednesday was never confirmed.
