Watch the movie, he was there! The main character guy. He was so obviously based on Goku, and the Dragonball influence on the fantasy world was shameless. I'm kinda happy.

Consider this: If this Dragonball movie totally sucks, we have The Forbidden Kingdom to fall back on now.

You do realize that Dragonball was based on the Monkey King story, and not the other way around right? But yeah that kid is what Goku will basically be, and the Jackie Chan character will be, hopefully, Master Roshi. We can only hope the fight scenes of Dragonball will be as good as the ones in Forbidden Kingdom, because they frekin rocked! (specially J&J fight).

lol....monkey

it was so cool to see chan and li on the same screen. i couldnt stop smiling everytime they were on screen especially when they were fighting. what an awesome movie!! it's definitely one to buy on dvd. i could see somewhat of an essence of goku. they should have chose another actor as the main character although he wasnt totally horrible. still...great movie!

During the first half of TFK, I thought the actor was a little annoying, but in the other half I thought he was pretty cool. I liked how he believably developed into a fighter/hero.

I don't think the action scenes will be like TFK because Jet Li and Jackie Chan are trained fighters. They know martial arts.

No one in the dragonball movie knows martial arts except Chow Yun fat.

i'll agree to that. that's why i said that he wasnt horrible. it was towards the end of the movie that he was acceptible. it was definitely worth the money...to me

the matrix is a good example of someone inexperienced in martial arts still looking good. Keanu Reeves

Oh please don't overrate TFK like this... It's a weak remake of karate kid and surf ninjas. The only movie to fall back on if DB sucks is The Last Dragon. You read that right.

it wasnt overated. it was a good movie to watch. it was a good story and a ton of fun to watch Chan and Li.

Well anything's good when you're high... but that's besides the point. My mission is accomplished as long as people do not expect what they saw in those trailers if they plan on spending money to see it. I enjoyed the peeing scene but that's prettymuch it...

Admittedly, when I saw the previews, I thought it was intriguing BUT didn't have much faith in it. Then I actually saw it, and walked out of the theater completely satisfied. It could've turned out cheesy, super lame, and intolerable, but to me it was actually a great martial arts/fantasy movie. Probably not the martial arts/fantasy movie to end all martial arts/fantasy movies, but damn close.

that scene was funny and to me it came out of left field for some reason.

i felt the same way. i was excited that it was the first chan/Li movie. i was a bit nervous that it would be a cheesy film but i was pleasantly surprised. i was good!!

TFK had no close relation at all to surf ninjas or karate kid AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This move was EFFIN AWESOMe.... and yea the kid was goku(he also wore the Orange gi wit the blue under shirt which was AWESOME!!!) in a small way but more so the monkey king idf you watchd his style of fighting it was like watchin a live action goku he was laughing and having fun in all his fight scenes and always happy.... that was so cool and yea I agree jacki was roshi and if you noticed someone in the movie calld him a HERMIT! And I guess you can say that jet li in some way was krillin IMO.... and once again TFK was in no way a remake of surf ninjas.......( surf ninjas is a classic I might add... to this day one of my favortie movies)

Watching Chan with his Drunken Master was so awesome! I still have his two Drunken Master movies on VHS. you liked surf ninjas that much?

Surf ninjas was the ****..... ernie reyes jr is really under rated he is an awesome martial artists its a shame he wasn't in alot of films and exposed.... ernie reyes jr is one of my favorite martial artists

he IS pretty awesome. my older brother had the pleasure of meeting him
