Goldeneye DVDs

I really want the Goldeneye DVD, but there are so many of them that its dumb (as multiple dips are). Which DVD of this movie out there has the best features out of all of them (which is probably key in what DVD is get anyway) so I don't have to get one of the Bond colections which has the films I don't want (not bashing those films, but I have no need for them).

I own the version that came out around the time of Casino Royale. It features the movie and I believe it's only real special feature is commentary with Martin Campbell and Brocoli. There may be a few little featurettes but the commentary is well worth the 10-15 bucks alone. It's very insightful about how the movie was made and what not.

I have a two-disc "ultimate edition" which was a part of a box with all Bond-movies. If you want a lot of extra-material this is probably the one to get

I have the Ultimate Edition too... it has a separate disc for special features so thats cool. The best video and audio quality too on DVD I believe

i can't believe there isn't a blu ray version of this movie out yet! i had just recently bought From Russia With Love on blu ray and it looks fantastic

I have the last released DVD of it. Visually it looks great. The restoration is top notch. With that said, it only came with commentary, unfortunately. You can find an old version that has a making of, but I don't feel the need to pay for it twice.

Man, I was hoping not to here that. But you're right, so you know.

DVD Verdict has been very helpful, and the Ultimate Collection Vol. 3 review contains and explains the extras. And oh my god, the Goldeneye DVD there is probably the one to get. I just didn't want the other films, though I'am not against the other 007 films like From Russia With Love or
On Her Majesty's Secret Service. I think you guys understand, right?
