As the title suggests, what scenes or sequences from films that were inadequete or poor that are actually good.

I've got a few I'l post up in a bit, but your thoughts people :)

I'm gonna get slated,

Robocop 3, when Murphy is talking to Nico, when he realises her parents are dead.. very well handled.

Well...technically I would only post movies I gave a F+ or lower (3.9 or lower), but...I'll count movies I gaved a D- to D+ (4 -5.9)

Bloodrayne (D+) I like the scene where Rayne is in this small room. The one where she finds the eye. This whole bit I think is good. Her dodging the deadly blades coming up from the floor, the slick shot of the camera going up to where her blade weapon is stuck in the ceiling. The fight with her and that monster thing minutes earlier was even ok. Not to mention her training scene later in the film is ok, too. Sadly, only parts I care for the movie. Well, except for the credit intro...thought that looked good.

Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (F+) Only scene I liked here was the Jax/Sandra vs Cyrax and ninjas fight. Best and only good fight in the movie. The group end fight wasn't terrible, but not up to par of this one.

House of the Dead(F+) I will say that long fight scene in front of the house, while not good, is the best scene in this film.

Predator 2(D+) Going off of memory here. The end fight in the spaceship isn't bad. I like it. Has some tension, but isn't long. Probably a few other scenes here that weren't bad, just can't remember and rather not see the film again.

hmm, lets see

In ultraviolet: the gunkata scene in the library right before she kills the main bad guy. I thought it was a very good visual scene. Just liked the way it was shot, colors, tone.

swordfish-opening

ultraviolet- the whole movie.

the clock tower/train sequence in spider-man 2.

Resident Evil: Apocolypse-The church scenes before Alice arrived to ruin everything.

spider-man 3 (as flawed as it was).

Rocky V... just the montage at the end with pics from the previous films

Resident Evil: Apocolypse-The church scenes before Alice arrived to ruin everything.

lolz ...

The whole fight scene at Jean's parent's house before Xavier bit it in X3

Obi-Wan/Qui Gon Jinn vs. Darth Maul in TPM.

Superbrawl in Matrix Revolutions

Michael Corleone losing his daughter and his flashforward to his death in The Godfather Part III.

The Singapore fight and Malstrom sequences in AWE.

The first battle sequence in 300 when they push the Persians over the cliff.

The scene where Tully attacks Cate Blanchett in The Good German.

The murder of Michael Gambon in The Good Shepard.

Any scene with Liev Schriber as Laertes in the otherwise awful Ethan Hawke rendition of Hamlet.

There are others.

The scene where Kristina Loken reveals those tiggo bitties in Bloodrayne.

Yeah, I'd actually call it just "okay" or mediocre. I suppose it isn't terrible, but it would have been if not for those two sequences (and Keith Richard's great cameo). I'd also rank Godofather Part III as not terrible but in the "gray" area of only okay to mediocre too though.

All the Bruce/alfred scenes in Batman and Robin kick ass more than anything in any other batman film. Oh the wasted potential.

Reeve losing his powers and regaining them in Superman IV to beat nuclear man.

Reeve fighting himself in superman III.

Dolph Lundgren saved He-man from being a total waste.

Duel of the fates

I'll try to think of more.
