I just picked up Amazing Spider-Man 566, the one with Spidey as Daredevil in the cover.

Now I am confused when he is fighting Vermin, Spidey says he hasn't fought Vermin since Mary Jane and him moved in together. Ah I thought that was done with? I am confused.

They just never got married, they still lived together and had a relationship tho.

When did Vermin come back to life? I didn't read the issue where he died, but I remember that She-Hulk was involved.

Yeah I went back, and read it ten times, because I thought he meant Vic, but no it said Mary Jane, and I didn't understand it. The book other than that though was actually pretty good. I could read through it, not like the ones before it 562-564. I haven't read 565 yet.

Well it makes sense, often when they do retconny crap they remind the reader of the changes in every issue. Just like how "I hope I don't run out of web fluid" was in the first 20 issues after OMD.

I HATE when they do this. It's breaking the 4th wall in the worst possible way. Especially becuase I hate this change. Stop reminding people you changed things, and get on with the stories you want to tell.

It would be like in The Dark Night, Batman saying "Man, I wish Robin was here, too bad he's out finding Mr Freeze new Polar Bear slippers"

Well I saw the cover of "Ways to Day" or whatever, and that looks really cool so hopefully the stories start to get better. Like I said though earlier this issue was actually really good, and I thought it was hilarious Spidey asking for Daredevils costume. It was pretty good.

I didn't know that Mary Jane and Peter had lived together before. I thought with the Brand New Day storyline they never even went out.

*Mental note: Replace married MJ to living with MJ. Harry's death for going away to rehab. God to Joe. etc.
