So I got this spider-bite a few weeks ago on my nose, and it's healed. Now I have a little scar on my nose where it bite me.
Funny thing was I got TWO spider bites in the course of a week. On my nose and on my ankle. The ankle one was quite nasty. Instead of swelling, the venom just spread out in a circle and made it look like my leg was infected. That one still hasn't fully healed.

Then I started thinking, what kinds of scars do other people have, and how did they get them.
I have nasty scar on my knee as well, from when I was 12 and climbed a tree and cut it on this piece of fence that it grew around. I also have a scar on my abdomen, when I was stabbed by a piece of rock when I was caving. Another scar from caving is from when a rock fell onto my hand and nearly cut my finger off.

So... I guess this thread is for people who would like to share how they got their scars.

I have a scar on each hand. On my left hand I have a scar from a self-inflicted cigarette burn because I too was once a stupid teenager and on my right hand right above the thumb I have a similiar spider-bite scar from a few months ago.

Also on my right hand I have several deep scars from glass cuts cause at a time when I punched through a window.

I also believe that there's totally another one of these threads somewhere.

My right eyebrow has a scar from when the Head Chef slammed open a door into my face (its OK, I looked roughly this bad before hand), a scar on my right shoulder from where I had a bone spur removed which was obstructing tendons when I was around 10-12.

Also had my nose broken several times over the years, but that doesn't really count.

Yeah I have a scar on the side of my head from when I was 12 years old or something. I was playing soccer in my local park and I was the goalkeeper. We weren't using nets, just our coats as goalposts. My mate had the ingenious idea of cycling through the goal, I didn't see him, dived to catch the ball, and slashed my head against the blades of the bike. First time I ever split my head open and up until then TV told me that getting a head wound equals you're dead. Suffice to say I was hysterical. :p

So yeah, it's not a huge scar, it's just that no hair grows where the scar is. :hehe:

So many scars on my knees and legs from falling and scraping up my legs all the time as a kid. And I also have about 5-6 chicken pox scars from when I had chicken pox as a kid.

My Surgery scars include a scar from my c-section and 4 tiny scars from having my gallbladder removed.

I have a scar under my foot from when I stepped on glass when I was 6 years old. I have pretty decent sized on in the groin area from when I had to get a hernia fixed that I got from cheerleading

My most significant scars are from surgeries. I had my left ACL reconstructed twice via orthoscopic surgery, as well as right and left inguinal hernia repairs. The scar on my knee that's directly over the screws for my ACL is still a greenish blue color after 8 years.

Work hard Live hard play harder ***** happens my body is like a road map of scars. Big deal

I have a scar on my armpit from surgery I had last summer.

I have a 2 inch scar next to my right elbow, thanks to a case of bursitis when I was in the 7th grade.

(By the way, wasn't there a thread similar to this about a month or so ago?)

The scar threads come back around every few months, yeah.

I have a scar on my lower arm from having a mole removed, three on my abdomen from having my appendix out and a piece of my chin bone is missing after I took a fall as a kid.

Biopsy on my upper back from having a mole removed, two scars on the backs of my legs where my achilles tendons are from surgery when I ran cross country, and one on my head from an accident when I was younger.

Wow, 13 replies and no TDK Joker jokes?

I'm impressed guys.

Wanna know how I got these scars? My father was...a drinker. And a fiend. And one night he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself; he doesn't like that. Not...one...bit. So, me watching, he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. He turns to me and he says, "Why so serious?" He comes at me with the knife, "Why so serious?!" He sticks the blade in my mouth, "Let's put a smile on that face!" And... why so serious?

I was gonna say only a total lame ass would even attempt a TDK line, but someone just did, so I won't hate on someone when I have a semi personal connection. :o

Congrats. You failed the test.

I blame Nolan. You cannot talk about anything that has even the remotest connection to TDK (including Gordon's awesome stache) without someone making a TDK joke...

Seriously I have way too many scars to count. Couple hundred at least. I was a very self destructive teenager. Drinking large amounts of cough syrup on a daily basis will make you do things to yourself that would normally hurt seem funny as hell. Once I was robo-tripping really hard and playing with a can of duster. I wasnt huffing it cuz that stuff is like crack but I was just holding it upside down letting lil drops of the liquid drip on my arm and it was tripping me out. Wasnt hurting me at all either just making a lil sizzle sound and thats it right, well all of a sudden a ****ing tidal wave of the stuff pours outta the can and I flipped out. Started spitting in my hand and rubbing it tryna warm it up. Everything seemed fine, until the next morning when I woke up with a fist sized blister on my arm. After it popped the following nite in my sleep ( i was resisting popping it cuz i needed it on video lol) I had a scab about 4 inches long and 2 or 3 across it was literally there for like 4 months it was so nasty. But anyways the scar I have from it now looks exactly like Africa! I swear its pretty faded now but in person you can totally make out Africa in it.

Then this other time I was really messed up on darvocets (UGGH!!) and me and my sisters late fiance (RIP JOHN) were playing with this bb rifle and we had no bbs. So we got the absolutely brilliant idea to use fishing weights instead. Now I would always joke around with people and pump it once and shoot em right. It dont hurt and they bounce off just sting for a second. So I would always shoot myself too to prove that it didnt hurt. Well in order to get it to actually shoot the fishing weight you hadda pump it twice instead of once. Not a good idea at all!!! I shot myself in the arm right in the middle of my Africa scar and all a sudden this lil hole just appears and blood starts pouring outta it. I flipped out and started feeling around and couldnt feel it at all so I thought it bounced out or something. Couple days later I find it on the opposite side of my arm by my wrist. That thing stayed in my arm for over a year and a half. Theres a whole nother crazy story about how I cut that thing out all by myself with a ginsu knife too but I totally feel like this has been enough stuff that makes me look totally dumb lmao haha I dont care those stories are funny. Im not like that at all anymore but like I said I used to do some crazy ass Steve-o type stuff just never actually on video. All my black friends are like "I love chilling with white boys! Yall do crazy ass **** just for fun!" I guess theyre right

I've got too many to count, luckily my skin's pretty good with healing so they don't show up well at all.

I hope it wasn't a brown recluse. Your nose may fall off.

I have a scar from when I was 8 years old. We used to have this water nozzle out in the back yard. It was sticking out of the ground and it was under the tree. One day my uncle was being mean and took the handle off to keep us from playing with the water. Later that day, I was climbing the tree and fell. My abdomen got impaled on the little screw that was sticking out of the nozzle. I still have the scar.

Right.... where shall i start?

I have a scar on my left ankle (operation),
a scar on my left leg midway between my knee and my ankle (Metal 2-d X-mas tree thing falling on my leg four years or so ago),
A long scar over my left knee (from having my kneecap removed)
A short scar over my right hip (operation),
A scar from having my appendix out last october that hasn't healed properly,
a scar on my right knee (operation)
multiple (honestly lost count) scars in my mouth and throat (operations)

Got a scar under neath my eye.

Wanna know how I got my scar?
