I'm rooting for the Ogre to get rid of Barbara.

OK episode. Not sure they needed to stretch the Ogre storyline to a 3 parter. This one sure feels padded for it.

The Penguin stuff was way OTT. A Don isn't going to trouble himself to go to a club to try and embarrass a guy in front of his mother. Isn't Maroni supposed to be a Sicilian ?He should know better. It isn't done! Penguin killing the guy a room away from his momma, whom he's trying to convince he's not a killer, was dumb as ****.

I was pleased with the Riddler stuff. It was nice to see his unhinged reaction after killing that meathead.

I'm still a bit let down that they have Selina so callus regarding her killing. I mean, they have to remember she's a 13 y/o, not a 30 y/o world weary Catwoman. She needed to have SOME conflicting emotions about killing a guy. Even if she didn't want to show it in front of Bruce,we needed to see it.

I think they just wanted to set up some conflict to give voice to Bruce's anti-killing stance. A teen Harvey Dent, would've been beautiful for that right now.But Selina,I'm not buying it.

The Barbara stuff was alright. I don't really want her to die,but I suppose I'd shed no tears if she does.

Fish was noticeably absent. For a change,I was looking forward to her story.

Looks like the series is a resounding success judging by the overwhelming comments this episode has gotten so far.:o

I'm confused about whether Barbara is going to die or join the Ogre?

Barbara better die... only thing I like anymore on this show is Leslie and Bruce, sometimes Gordon and Bullock.

Oh give me a break. The popularity of these things don't begin and end with Hype activity.

Did you see how much activity there was in the Transformers boards prior to the last movie? Barely any. Did you see how much money it made? A billion worldwide.

I think he tracked her down with the intention of killing her, but found a little deeper of a connection than he expected. I think he might try to warp her and potentially [blackout]send her after Leslie, with the endgame of Gordon basically losing the woman he loves[/blackout].

Just imagine if they got John Hurt to play the Ogre's father.

So... new to actually discussing this show. (It took me a long time to really get in to it.) Are we assuming that this Barbara is never going to be Barbara Gordon? Maybe she dies and Jim just names his daughter after her?

The irony is that the comments to your comment are artificially inflating the number of comments in this thread. :cwink:

I'm glad they're finally going with the "Barbara is a psycho" concept. It makes sense given everything she's done on this show.

Good episode. Both the Gordon and Bruce storylines are interesting and hopefully we see more of Fish next week.

Great episode. I half expected Nygma to say "Its not Riddle Man. Its Riddler."

Also new to posting on Gotham. I'm really loving this show. It happened strangely. I kinda was "hmm ok.." at the first few episodes then meh for a long time. Yet ever since the mid season break when they came back with electrocutioner arc, I've loved it. Think it's fantastic the time that villains and plots get now.

Like seriously, ogre is going to go 3 episodes? Fair play, love the actor and Gotham's given me time to actually care about The Ogre who I'd never heard of before. It's also the first time I've been interested in Barbara's storyline.

Really looking forward to the last one of the Ogre episodes then the finale in May! :)

The sad thing is, I can actually see Barbara being swayed by the Ogre to becoming a killer.

Though I do have to say, I am getting some great Patrick Bateman vibes from the Ogre.

dat riddle man
:atp:
Can't wait to see where things go with him now.
