Penguin will kill Fish, I predict now.
Yes, Penguins eat fish. That telegraphs her (well deserved) fate.

Penguin will kill Fish, I predict now.
Four things to take away from this episode:
Even freaks love catchy music.
Maroni doesn't know what sound geese make.
Don't mess with the Penguin.
Don't mess with the Roman.
This episode was tremendous. This is what Ive wanted the show to be since day one. I mean i get it that they have to build things up but I think an increased focus on the mob and gang war is good for the show. Keep it more serialized than episodic so that your hooked from week to week.
Also, Zaasz was by FAR the best villain in this sho. He was pure SCARY.
Bruce starts training next week!
Highlight of the episode:
Zaasz: Everyone out.
**Everyone just stares at each other**
Zsaaz: PLEASE?
**Everyone flees the station**
Damn, why would anyone wanna be a cop in Gotham?
they've already shown him and Alfred fencing.
True, but I think the fencing was just Alfred wanting to help Bruce relieve some hidden stress/anger that he could see was pent up inside of him.
Incredible episode. Best by a long shot. If the show maintains the kind of quality of this episode it will be a real winner.
Penguin is sooooooo awesome. As a long time Penguin fan since childhood it's great to see his potential be lived up to as a bad ass villain in this show. In that opening scene where you see him waddling along with his umbrella, two henchmen at his side, and that kind of comical music theme that the villains of the 60's TV show had, I smiled big time. I hope 'ol waddle foot gets a new level of respect from some Batman fans who unfairly dismiss him as a lesser villain.
Ben McKenzie finally impressed me as Gordon. I never disliked him, but he didn't wow me until now. He was on great form in this. The whole cast were. Even Jada stepped up her game as Fish. That confrontation scene she had in Maroni's place with Penguin was great.
I loved all the mob stuff. It was really well handled and gave the episode that gangster pulpy feel. Zsasz was a great villain. Not over used, not diluted down, and not a villain of the week type character. They need more of that. Zsasz is primed to pop up when ever they need him to.
The twist at the end was terrific. Did not see that coming. 10/10 for this episode.
