the standoff with the monks felt a bit anticlimactic but I enjoyed the ep.

    looking forward to Freeze.

also, anyone think that Jim and Leslie's baby will be (Batgirl) Barbara??

given both Jim's and Leslie's past with psycho Barbara, somehow I have a hard time believing they will name their daughter Barbara. but, who knows.......maybe Jim feels guilty about what happened to Barbara or something........

Or perhaps it signifies a "second chance" or something. Like it didn't work with one Barbara, but Jim can maybe try and do better with another one, his daughter.

Funny, I thought that they said that they WEREN'T writing Morena's real-life pregnancy into the show, guess they changed their minds on that one.

The Gordon/Penguin/Alfred team-up was great, as was Selina kicking ass with the best of them. Oh and I will NEVER get tired of seeing this penguin flip his lid and go to town on someone with a baseball bat.

Penguin's reaction to the pregnancy news was priceless too.

Silver saved Bruce from Reverend's attack by shouting "stop" just when he was about to strike, which allowed Gordon and others to storm in.

Which was unexpected as I thought that she was just acting to be nice.

At first I loved how "by the book" Barnes is with his approach to law and order.

This episode I found it annoying. Evidence this, proof that...hunting down Jim simply because ON PAPER he's a fugitive. Cmon man.

Yeah Vic Mackey was really getting on my nerves "Jim's a FUGITIVE, HE PUNCHED OUT THE MAYOR, WE NEED TO BRING HIM IN." Oh puh-leease. Give me a break.

    I agree with this.

It was an enjoyable episode but I somehow expected more from the 'Fall finale'. It was fine. But Mr. Freeze was random. He looks cool and but obviously they introduced him too early.

As a poster previously mentioned, I like the shows approach of having a handful of "mini-arcs" throughout the course of the season as opposed to a long overarching story across 22 episodes.

Clearly the next arc will focus on Freeze and Hugo Strange.

There are a few question that still have to be answered.
Whats next for Tabitha and Silver
What was on the harddrive that Fox has.
Why was freeze chasing that guy.

As the police captain said, "There is no line, only the law! " But the law does not apply to Galavan, so Jim tainted his soul to uphold the future of Gotham. This is WAR. Jim eliminated Gotham's #1 threat, and enhanced relationships with the Penguin.

Yet another excellent episode, and quite possibly young Bruce's best. He's on his way to becoming the Batman. Cool, calculated, and always thinking two steps ahead of his opponents.

Very good end for the season. Just one minor duh plot. It would make sense for Bruce to hire a few security people, lord knows he's rich enough!

I just do not understand the low ratings of this show. Fox needs to broaden its advertisements as interest in batman will hit an all-time high once the new superman vs batman hits theatres.

Freeze was always cool, pun intended! I hope we get an origin story on him soon, and please tell me Jerome is alive in the third season.

Just like with Agents of Shield, this show is paying for its mishandling of the first season in its ratings. Season one was very incoherent and I think it lost a lot of viewers it will never get back. Luckily, if the show stabilizes at its current ratings numbers it should be fine for future renewals.

My theory is that Jim and Leslie have James Jr. and eventually Barbara gets pregnant by someone as messed up as she is and winds up getting killed after having a baby girl, who then gets adopted by Jim and Leslie and named after her mother.

Because isn't Barbara Jim's niece that he adopts in some of the continuities?

To be fair, the GCPD just suffered a MAJOR public embarrassment by going after Galavan without having enough evidence. It wasn't like he had given up on Galavan. He was going to try and get a warrant so he could investigate him more thoroughly. It was just happening too slowly to save Bruce.

As for Jim, he was right. Jim was in the process of doing something highly illegal, which eventually led to cold blooded murder. Barnes knew Jim was behaving strangely.

oh?? I've never heard of Barbara being Jim's niece before. but I could be wrong.

I can buy your theory - it does make sense and seem more plausible than Jim and Leslie naming their own daughter Barbara.

Yes, in the comics Barbara is actually Gordons niece that he adopted.
