Gotham Clip: Hugo Strange Meets Penguin
Victor and Nora Fries is the best thing about this season.
Loving this episode so far. Loving Victor Fries' storyline.
I thought they did a great job introducing Hugo Strange. Already, he seems like the best villain this show has had to this point.
Loving Hugo and freeze so far. This show does so good with the villains ID love to c their batman some day. Curious to see how Gordon's lies unravel

The one time Gotham doesn't go too on the nose with with last name pronunciation... is the one time they should have.
Also, BTAS still has the most emotional impact/weight of Freeze... let alone of any villain in comic book media.
Hugo was awesome, though.
I know, you people will find a way to complain about everything.

Not a good one.
I agree. The Penguin will have leverage on Gordon for as long as he likes.
I would not mind seeing Batman in flash forwards from time to time. Say 2 or 3 episodes a season.
That's a bold statement, but possibly true. I liked Hugo. Credit the actor who plays him, but he's a season behind the Penguin and the Riddler. Jerome I thought was outstanding.
Hugo Strange was wunderbar. Also liked the extremely childish gore ascociated with Mr. Freeze.
I liked the discussion on how to pronounce Fries. I do like how they are setting up Freeze. And Hugo had a great intro. Looks like there may be a bit of conflict between Strange and Freeze.
How do you figure there will be conflict between Strange and Freeze?
I've fallen way behind on this season but I was able to catch this episode and I really enjoyed it.
I wasn't sure sure about introducing freeze this early but I actually like what they're doing with him and Nora.
Strange will want the secret of Fries reanimation technique.
Why would that lead to conflict?
I don't get the impression that Strange and Freeze will mix well together. Strange seems to get more pleasure out of his experiments than Freeze.
Did like the quick call out to Firefly, though.
I don't see Strange asking nicely for the formula neither I see Fries giving it up easily. I think Strange will try to get Fries in Arkham and extract his secrets from him.
I could be wrong of course, it's just a feeling.
Edit : Nora should have been called Frenchy ..Frenchy Fries
I really liked the episode.
The opening showed how much I already forgot happened this season.
Victor is a brilliant cryogenic scientist with expertise and knowledge Hugo wants. Hugo is a guy interested in his science with a giant lab to put at his disposal thus the perfect environment for him to save his wife. Why would that lead to anything but them being best friends forever?
Maybe Victor and Hugo's relationship will be like Walter and Gus.
