Now THAT is the ruthless, cunning Penguin I enjoy seeing...though if the kid is gone, that is some cold blooded stuff that's...not out of line with this show, I must admit.

Oh, never mind.

And look at that marketing for the fall finale, sticking Jerome right there at the end. That'll be a big hook, that's for sure. I can't imagine Sofia and Barbara's crew have any advantage when Barbara's gun shop is in flames, and now she's going up against both the GCPD and Penguin.

Hoping Bullock comes back in the fall finale, at least. It's been a while since we've seen him.

Very glad that this was a Bruce/Alfred-less episode. This episode didn't really need them with the focus still on Pyg and the crime war. To be fair, it didn't need the Leslie/Nygma stuff either, but hey, it did advance their friendship and shows that Ed still has that Riddler in him.

Great episode! Penguin's having "Something better planned" must be Jerome! Riddler's coming back too, which is great!

I thought it was interesting that Pyg was revealed to have a southern accent and his previous kills weren't Police Officers in the south.

As long as Selina shows up, even if she doesn't really have much to do and is just sort of there, I'm happy

Guess it was either a subplot that got cut due to time constraints or the person who wrote that synopsis dun goofed.

I've had enough of the Pyg. He's disgusting. You-know-what pies...that's disgusting. So who is he really? This has been going way too long, I want this arc to wrap quickly. I've had enough. More interested in seeing how things with Sofia Falcone and Penguin will turn up.

So many twists in this episode. I got a little disoriented.

So in the end, Sofia really just wanted to take over the mafia for herself? I might buy that, but I feel like the next episode could have a twist we wouldn't expect, like it will turn the other way around, and be like, oh, she was helping Gordon all along.

But was she really willing to kill that child? I'm confused. I feel like she might be using the child to play Penguin. She wanted the kid to tell Penguin that she and Gordon kissed...but what if that was another part of her twisted plot? If so then, that's really clever.

I'm glad Penguin at least has still has some heart left in him. Not that I care that he does, it just makes interesting to find that he's still human. He's not completely careless.

Other than not being interested in the Pyg this season, I'm getting tired of seeing what's going on with Lee organizing the cage fighting club and working with Nygma.

I'd prefer Sofia to be playing Gordon all along. If she was good all along then...meh. Not so interesting.

Confused as to whose side she's really on. I'm lost. I don't buy her act when she says "We're the same" to Gordon. She has to be playing him.

I think it should result in some way by having Sofia and Gordon successfully taking down the Penguin, only...he can't die again (only to come back again later) so maybe this time, he will get arrested.

Then Sofia will take over the Mafia, and then shoot Gordon in the chest (to get revenge of Gordon killing her brother)...her plan all along(?)

I think that would make more sense of her motives. Manipulating Gordon to help her get what she needed to take Penguin down to 1) impress her father and 2) get revenge of Gordon.

This marks the first "third" episode for the first time, in which Bruce Wayne and Alfred do not appear this season. This is the reason I don't like the Pyg. Sick of it. That and Nygma, Grundy and Riddler sticking around at the cage fight club.
