So this is the episode where Bruce gets his fear of bats, plus the first official Jerome/Penguin meeting. Part of me wishes this was the mid-season premiere to be honest. Plus it seems that the season moniker is still going by "The Dark Knight". Interesting.

Also according to a recent David Mazouz interview, Jerome's apparently gonna feature in every episode of the season starting with this episode.

Have very mixed feelings and signals about this whole Joker mess, but it'll be nice to see Jerome for more than three episodes.

Definitely part of Bruce's hallucination.

Plus Penguin's sporting the tophat and Gordon his classic 'stache.

Well, not quite it seems. He's gonna be absent in episodes 14 and 15, but he'll return in episode 16 from what I've read. I think they're building him up to be the season's endgame villain, which I'd be totally fine with.

Ra's is also coming back. So I think the drama in the finale will be split between the stuff with Sofia, Penguin, Jim, Jerome, etc. And the other part will be Ra's, Bruce, and Alfred.

I meant as in "main" endgame villain of the season, since at the end of the season we know the Joker will be born no matter what happens.

Well, Monaghan's definitely got a Ledger-esque voice down here more than when Jerome had just re-attached his face.

And always nice to see more Lucius Fox, even if minimal.

I like how Jerome's voice is kind of a hybrid of Nicholson and Ledger. Kudos for pulling that.
