Many people(on here and online in general)want to change Michael to look&be like Walter from Breaking Bad,I can understand why but I'm keeping my Michael clean&rich..Well he'll have a 5 o'clock shadow beard but mostly be wearing something like a sports coat and jeans.

I'm making Franklin more into a thug or hustler and living like Playboy in IV than a gangster in the ghetto wanting out,Trevor will mostly be the same but less redneck

I'm making Trevor into a cross-dresser

Someone leaked an image of trevor in his canadian woodsman outfit.

One of my favorite things in San Andreas was customizing CJ's look. Wish you could still get ripped or fat or skinny like in that game. Really brought a whole new dimension of care and connectibility to the onperson character that I really haven't felt before or since. Not like an emotional connection, but like a literal sense of being invested in that person.

There's much more customization now, I'd take what we have now over making my character skinny or fat to be honest.

Ha ya that should've been the last part of my post - I'm stoked there's a huge amount of customization in the new iteration.

Someone here brought up why Rockstar doesn't seem to be using celebrities as voice actors anymore for GTA games? well here's Dan Houser's response from a recent interview he gave:

We used to use famous actors, partly because the mo-cap process was so cumbersome and we could only have three people anyway. But on San Andreas, a guy, a sort of second-rate comedian, got offended by the script and stormed out of the recording studio, shouting, "I'm not doing this, it's offensive." We just thought, well your agent did some great research there.

I wonder who that comedian was?

It sounds like he was being nice when describing the guy as "second-rate". If you call yourself a comedian, and get offended by the humor in GTA, then you're prob not going to make a successful comedian due to lack of a sense of humor.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't they said from the start that you *can* get ripped, fat or skinny in GTAV? I thought they said from the beginning that working out and staying fit is a big part of character customization.

Most comedians have a line they won't cross.

Only a handful of famous comedians like Sara Silverman, Louie CK and Doug Stanhope push the boundaries of politically correct comedy.

The opposite, I think. I recall an interview some time ago where Rockstar made mention that changing the character's whole body shape didn't work out so well, and it was subsequently left out of GTA V. Personally I'm okay with the characters remaining one size, the level of customization in other areas is through the roof.

You might be thinking of leveling up things like athleticism. If you want to get away from the cops quicker, or swim away from a shark, it would be a good idea to make sure Franklin and co are in good shape -but as far as I know it won't change the body shape, only the stats.

what a loser that "comedian" is if he thought the GTA material is offensive. goes to show he doesn't have a sense of humor.

I like that they just went to voice actors instead of celebrities. They're better and its less distracting

I really don't think the humor in GTA is so much politically incorrect. I always considered it real world parody with a little extra toilet humor on the side.

People have started to recieve the game from Amazon. Looks like it will be Tuesday for everyone else

Damn! Why can't I get my game from Amazon early!?!?

I think I might be getting a copy on midnight tho, well my sister is. So we'll prob go to Walmart or something at midnight and snag a copy, then I'll get mine when UPS drops it off Tues afternoon.

This is how my version of Trevor will look at all times:

Damn wish I ordered on amazon haha, oh well mines paid off at GameStop so I will grab it Monday midnight.

Mine hasn't shipped yet from Amazon, that would be cool if it came on Monday though

This is why I'm glad that they're waiting until Oct 1 to launch multiplayer. Every time Call of Duty comes out, people get it crazy early from Amazon and you end up getting torched by the guys that know the maps, tricks ect. This way, it evens the playing field a bit more.

So the preload for the US was incorrect. It's finally been confirmed by Sony and Rockstar that the game can be downloaded at 12am EST on Tuesday. At least that means I can start downloading it at 9PM on Monday! :word:

9 of 16 for Shirts and Suits for that store. They might sell other stuff too, shoes, it looks like there's some pants in the background there. Maybe some watches, glasses, etc? That's a lot of stuff!
