Any word of the performance on 360?

Just like you'd expect. Better than GTA IV, but the console deff shows it's age.

I didn't notice any of the issues noted in that article when I was watching the live stream. Altho the guy playing wasnt using any kind of super car or wasnt flying in any planes.

All the leaked vids I've seen on YouTube of both look pretty much the same. I doubt we'll have a dip in FPS. R* has had more time with both consoles by now.

Polygon has a habit of emphasizing gender in gaming, which is all well and good, but they seem to over do it. I found the fake review funny but the reaction on that board is anything but.

Haha yea it was pretty crazy. It was a stupid review tho, fake or not.

I have two immediate reactions to this video.

1) Really? REALLY?

2) What are these parents thinking?

Apparently a store in France started surreptitiously selling copies of Rockstar's highly-anticipated blockbuster a few days early. And apparently parents need to pay more attention to rating labels. Kids who can't even look at Grand Theft Auto V's box without flipping out should really not be playing this game. There are like, hookers. And murder.

I've been watching a lot of these live streams the past few days and man o man.....some of these people out there are HORRIBLE players. I find it hard to believe that this game has that much to get used to.

I haven't seen any of the streams, but your comment reminds me of all the gameplay videos developers used to put out with someone awful at the controls. It's been a lot better the last year or two, but for the longest time it seemed like developers just pulled some random person off the street to play their game -not a great way to advertise your new game's features. Somewhere along the line they seem to have learned that it's better to show the game actually being played well if you want it to sell.

As bad as they are I'm shocked they were able to correctly hook up the live stream lol. The funny part are the people trolling the player in the comments.

The funniest comment by far was "This guy is so bad, he's the type of player that gets a 1 star wanted level and then goes to the police station to turn himself in."

Yeah.... Parents these days. And they wonder why the little kid is crying like a girl. I have a nephew that's the same way. Just a big crybaby cause he always gets what he wants.... that is, at his house. When he comes over here, I don't let him play videogames or watch movies (He always wants to watch Scarface.) I try to make him workout and read books, but.... he usually breaks down to crying and ends up going back to his house. I did let him try to play Fallout 3, he couldn't get out of the create a character mode, so he gave up. HAHA!

This is exactly why I stopped watching streams because it isn't even fun to watch because of how bad they are.

Haha the dude I was watching wasn't bad, he just wasnt really doing anything. I figure you are streaming the game, show off some of the new elements. The scuba, the planes, the combat etc, but this guy spent like 30 min trying to jump over a train while riding a dirtbike haha.

Ah well, the game will be in our hands soon enough. Can't believe the release is here. I can still remember drooling over that announce trailer 2 yrs ago.

I do too. As someone who works a 9-5, I'm eagerly anticipating Tuesday evening... unless I can find a reason to have a doctor's appointment/get sick/etc.

Luckily I work on the road all day, so I can probably sneak away in the middle of the day when people are at school or work.....get in and get out.

That was my initial plan but the past week has been killing me. I might end up going to the midnight release, something I haven't done in YEARS.

Yeah a lot of the videos I've seen the people playing are just horrible. It's ridiculous. And some decided to talk during their playthrough and they make even less sense. Calling characters the wrong name etc. so annoying.

I work 9-6, and I won't get home until about 8pm, so I'm already looking forward to Friday and next weekend so I can put in a ton of hours into this.

I'll tell you though, the single coolest thing I've seen so far that I'm really looking forward to is Franklin's dog, Chop. You can train him and take him for walks. He'll jump in any car you jack and will accompany you all over Los Santos.

I'm taking that ****er everywhere I go!

Yeah, he's way too young. But who am I to judge? I played Grand Theft Auto III when I was thirteen, but that's without question the tamest of the series in regards to sex, violence and language.
