I know I can't wait for Watchmen and Wanted, I know for a fact Wanted's coming out next year and Watchmen supposed to be made by Frank Miller

My choice is a rather uncoventional choice.
I woluld like to see Craig Thomspons "Blankets".
That is by far my favorite graphic novel and it would make a great transition to film.
Films like Ghost World and American Splender proved you don't need aliens, mutants, or vigilantes to craft a damn fine comic book adaption, just a concrete story close to the source material.

I liked Blankets too but I'd rather to see Jeffrey Brown's Clumsy.
The Pro would be a rather funny movie too.

animated version of Maus...done well and as true to the comics as the sin city adaptation....but would there really be an audience for an animated movie of such a topic?

Nocturnals. I think it would work even better as a movie than as a comic.

Watchmen is being made by Zack Snyder of Dawn of the Dead (2004) and 300 fame.

Adventures of a Lesbian College School Girl

I think Bone would make a nice animated movie. When I read the graphic novels, it honestly does feel like I am watching a movie.

a very weird movie i think i would probably go crazy from would be "Like a velvet glove cast in iron."

I'ld really like to see a well done "Authority" film. Does anyone agree with me?

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns

took the words right out of my mouth.
I would also like to see an HBO mini series for Superman Red Son. a movie would be to short and HBO has the bucks to pull it off.

David Boring
Love & Rockets (mainly the Locas stuff, but if they could work in the Palomar stuff in some way, I wouldn't complain)
Transmetropolitan
The Authority
Blankets
Persepolis
Black Hole

The Dark Knight Returns (maybe could be done 15-20 years from now, bringing Christian Bale back)

Maus (one of my favorite graphic novels, would love to see it depicted as an animated film)

The Maxx (even though it's not a graphic novel)

and maybe an animated Bone movie

Batman: DKR as an R-rated animated film

Sandman as an HBO animated series

Hmm....
Transformers VS. G.I. Joe
I'm not talking about the cartoony ones that are still going on. I'm talking about the one that takes place during WWII and has gorgeous, gritty art.

Adventures of a Lesbian College School Girl

That is one of the worst erotic comics I've ever read. It's all strap-on sex. Lesbian sex should never be as boring as it was in that book.

I really liked that one. The other one that was going on at about the same time that took place in present day was pretty damn bad, though.

Hmmmmm well most of the "graphic novels" you guys are mentioning ARNT graphic novels at all but whatever....as for a REAL graphic novel that would be good to see...Arkham Asylum.
