Looks fun. Look gorgeous. Shame on Sony for not wanting this in their press conference.

I was about to make a thread about this.Really does look great. I don't get why this or Nier weren't in the presser.

Look at this gameplay:

Or Persona.

I don't get it either. Their press conference was short. They could have gone on for another twenty minutes or half an hour and no one would have complained. Especially if they kept up the pace they were going at.

Yep and Persona 5. I think they were focused on what could be considered AAA titles in the US. I don't know why they would do it, as these games got me as excited if not more. Variety is the spice of life.

yep! I too was disappointed that games like GR 2, Nier, and Persona 5 weren't part of Sony's conference. These are the type of games that interest me.

would have also added variety to the type of games they showcased since most of what they showed were more "realistic" looking games ( GOW, Horizon, RE 7, etc. ).

Gravity Rush 2, Persona 5, and Neir will most likely get more exposure at TGS.

Gravity Rush 2 looks great.

Yeah, Nier is another one.

And I'm sure they will show up other places, but for the time being at least E3 is still the biggest game show of the year and these games look really, really good and deserve to be seen by more people. Especially in the case of Gravity Rush which isn't well known.

Agreed, they could shown those games as well. I guess since this was a new format for them, Sony was testing how well this went over with fans and people who watched it.
Who knows maybe they'll try this format again next year and add those kind of games to the conference.

Maybe this is their way of saving stuff for Gamescom?

That's also possible.

Still haven't heard what Sucker Punch is up to

Back on topic: I wonder if they are going to continue flesh out Kat's past memories before the event of the first GR?

it wont be the last. This now comes out the same week as Gravity Rush 2. Im sure once Sony realizes that, they'll delay that into 2017. Its damn ridiculous at this point!

And as expected it's delayed till January. I knew once Sony woke up and realized that The Last Guardian was launching the same week that this would get delayed next

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2016/10/05/gravity-rush-2-update/

In July, we announced a release date for Gravity Rush 2 that we felt most appropriate for the title. Since then, though production is proceeding smoothly, the landscape for that release date has changed dramatically.

Gravity Rush 2 is the conclusion of Kat’s journey, so we want players to have enough time to dive deep into her story. In addition, as a lot of work went into online features that allow for asynchronous player interaction, we want as many people as possible playing the title at the same time. Thus, after careful deliberation, we have decided to change the release date. Gravity Rush 2 will now launch on January 20, 2017.

I would like to apologize to all those players anxiously awaiting Gravity Rush 2. After four years of development making a title we are very proud of, we want to release it at the very best time.

In exchange for the longer wait, we have decided to release the premium DLC planned for the title free of charge. This additional story will take place in the world of Gravity Rush 2 and we think fans will have a lot of fun playing through it.

As we move into the holiday season and the New Year, we have many more exciting things in store, including more information about the title and the special animated feature. Please keep an eye out for more on Gravity Rush 2, and thank you again for all your support.

the delay is actually a good thing for me given all the big games coming out this Fall/Winter.

I'll probably pick up GR 2 in Feb along with Persona 5.

the delay is actually a good thing for me given all the big games coming out this Fall/Winter.

For me it's the opposite. Nearly all the games I wanted to play got delayed to the first couple of months of next year, which have become absolutely stacked.

Gravity Rush 2
Resident Evil 7
Tales of Berseria
Yakuza 0
Nioh
For Honor
Persona 5
Sniper Elite 4
Nier: Automata
Horizon: Zero Dawn
Ghost Recon: Wildlands

I literally don't have enough money to play all those, never mind the time commitment.

Disappointing. Looks like Soapy and I are in the same boat. I have very little to play the end of this year, but have a lot I want to play the first 3 months of next year.
