Freaking loved this show with it's multi-racial cast way ahead of its time.

I was gonna say that!
I loved this show as a kid.
The toys came first, Gilpesh. The original Max figure was much younger looking, then the show started, and they changed it to reflect the cartoon.
I still have a lot of the toy sets, but the little figures have gone places... My favorite one is the Dragon Island set.

So ******ed, but I enjoyed it at the time as well. I liked Gretzky's multi-puck arsenal, and Bo Jackson's Hulk-like strength. I don't remember Jordan doing anything cool though.

Actually, I don't either. Odd, given that he was the only one of the three I actually liked as a kid. I never watched hockey and I didn't know Bo Jackson from Adam until I saw that show.

Same here! I knew who Wayne Gretzky was, no idea who Bo Jackson was, but only really liked Jordon. But when I saw him floating with those inflated basketballs, even as a kid I thought it was pretty lame.
