Is it:

Kirk Douglas
Charles Bronson
Clint Eastwood
Charlton Heston
Bruce Willis
Vin Diesel
Jason Statham
Steven Seagal
Robert Mitchum
Samuel L. Jackson
Sylvester Stallone
Other...

Stallone, definitely. RAMBO is the single biggest cinematic bad-ass to ever grace the screen.

I'm surprised Arnold Schwarzenegger didn't make your original list.

Arnold or Bruce Willis. It's a toss up for me bc with Bruce you get the smart ass rogue american cop and with Arnold you get the full image of bad ass but the accent with it and not so great acting.

Where's Arnold on the list?

DAMN I FORGOT ARNIE!!!

Hey, I started a poll....so please forget this thread!!

Sorry...

Schwarzenegger easy. The guy's got screen presence and charisma. He can make crap dialogue funny with his tone of voice, accent and facial expressions. He make mutilate himself onscreen non chalantly and make it look plausible and if you tally up his films he's probably got the highest kill count.

Lastly he's played the most quoteable characters ever.

"I'll be back"
"Remember when I promised to kill you last? I lied."
"Come on Bennett, let's pahty!"
"Stick around"
"Get to da choppah!"
"You are one ugly mudda fugger"
"Well I hope you left enough room for my fist because I'm going to ram it into your stomach and break your goddamn spine!"
"Uplink! Underground! Uplink! Underground! Uplink! Underground! Keep it up and I'll uplink your ass! The you'll be underground!"
"You're luggage"
"It's Turbo time!"
"God ordered a hit on an investment banker?"
"Between your faith and my Glock 9mm, I'll take the Glock"

Hey, if a moderator wishes to close this thread, you have my complete and utter support...sorry

You don't need to be built like a tank to be a "tough guy." Bruce Lee could have kicked the ass of everyone who's been mentioned. Thus he wins.

I think we're done here.

Has to be Clint for me he's literally timeless, as a young guy he's badass, as a frail pensioner still badass!

The fact that the words John Wayne haven't been mentioned in this thread makes me sick. Long live The Duke

Audie Murphy.

:cap: :cap: :cap:

Definitely. Audie Murphy was the greatest. I think To Hell and Back is one of the most fascinating films ever. Here you have a Hollywood icon playing himself in a true story about how he became the most decorated American soldier in World War II. Great stuff.
