I was listening to Jeremy Irons in the Lion King and wow!!! He is unbelievable!! The emotions he conveys are chilling to say the least, Specially the song he sings while getting the hyenas to work for him. Any other main stream actors that have done impressive works?

Michael Rosenbaum in all his DC universe stuff.

Lucy Lawless: even though in most of her v/os she's doing her generic "Xena accent," it matches the role perfectly in the ones I've seen

James Woods: as himself in two rival animated series, and utterly hilarious in both. Also for Hades and Owlman.

Eddie Murphy as Donkey and Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots were the standouts in the Shrek movies. It's easily Murphy's funniest role in the past 25 years.
