Saving Private Ryan is my favorite.

I also like

Apocalypse Now

Platoon
Full Metal Jacket

Those are really the only ones. I'm not much of a fan of war films.

I don't count 'Schindler's List' as a war movie, it wasn't about the actual war. It was about what was going on "behind the scenes".

Saving Private Ryan.

It is an outstanding film on every single level. Spielberg created a real masterpiece!

My top five would be Saving Private Ryan, Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, MASH, and Three Kings.

But there are many that I want to see but haven't--Apocalypse Now, Paths of Glory, The Bridge on the River Kwai, The Thin Red Line, Glory, The Hurt Locker, Jarhead, Black Hawk Down, and others.

Haha, when I was a kid I was obsessed with wars, from the Roman Republic/Empire to the modern day "War" on Terror in the Middle East. Seriously -- Stephen E. Ambrose and Ken Burns had nothing on me. I would rent at least every film that at least covered war topics twice.
