Finished reading this comic book series the other day, and enjoyed it.
Loved it that Hal didn't take any crap from Batman.

What i love most about comic books is the art. The stories are cool, but the art is way more appealing.

Yes, keep going. GL Rebirth is the initial flame of long burning candle. So to speak :D The sinestro Corps war isgreat, the Red Lantern arc is great, blackest night is great. It re-initiated the whole universe/GL world. I went back in this wonderful universe because of it.

Yeah, I have to agree it's pretty good - a bit corny in parts (and some aspects of the story are a little overly contrived) but the overal result is great.

Sinestro Corps war was amazing - although I thought it a bit ridiculous
how easily Kyle gets taken out and Sodam Yat vs Superman Prime could have been more creative rather than just a slugfest
, but otherwise it was pretty great, it does a lot for Sinestro as a character and the conclusion is very satisfying. IMO the only way to read it is as a collected edition so you can go straight from chapter to chapter.

TBH I was very so-so on Blackest night and some of the other follow ups - I'm not sure the universe really needed a corps for every colour of the rainbow.

The Superman episode "In Brightest Day" is what really ignited my interest in GL, and Rebirth just solidified my love for the character.

It's story arcs like this that have immense franchise potential, but most directors are avoiding the character. It's a shame.
