Grieving and memorial Chronological Question (spoilers)

Right apparently 3 people die in this film.

Scott dies first
then xavier
then jean

however in the film

Xavier's funeral memorial is held first which is followed by scott and jeans at the end.

even though scott died first in the film there is no grieving for his character by any of the main characters even the professor who you would think would act as if he's lost his first born child.

THIS is all fine and dandy but HOLD THE PHONE, WAIT A SECOND

JEAN DIED FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she died at the end of the first film yet there is no memorial left for her. surely she should have been the first one to have a memorial made for her and her death considering that it was a sacrifice to save the life of all the other members at the time.


why the lack of chronological loving and the student hate, especially considering the way scott and jean handled things when the professor was out of it in the first filim.


maybe storm has beef with them, why would that be, was it because they used to make fun of th fact her name is ororo, only ratner knows....

Scott's death was never proved, it was because Jean said so...

We couldn't keep having funeral scenes throughout the movie.

they 'knew' jean's death was for sure at the beginning of the film...

there was never a 'she's still alive' conspiracy, even cyclops never viewed any such opinions even when he got those psychic messages...


ps i don't think jean ever said she killed cyclops in the film, wolverine tells her she killed cyclops purely based on the fact he found his glasses

Yeah, it was an eight month period between X2 and X3. Just because it isn't shown, doesn't mean it didn't happen

Some time has passed between X2 and X3. Jean's funeral/memorial service was held in between that time.

X3 is not a direct Sequel taking place right away after X2. Obviously some time had passed & they already had a funeral for Jean before X3

Why does the block have to be in the garden? THere are any number of explanations for why there isn't one there: they normally bury people in the other garden on the other side of the mansion, Jean's block was at a family plot in a cemetary, Cyclops refused to have a memorandum made for her because he was in denial she was dead, etc...

Doesn't mean it didn't happened at the Mansion. They could have had it at Alkali or anywhere

well the absolute point is that no one except for jean needed to perish at all if even that.

all i'm pointing out is that the people who die BEFORE Xavier don't get memorials until AFTER he dies. even though scott and professor xavier go pretty much around the same time.
