At leas it will probably will look more balanced between MCU and DCEU and if Sony keeps expanding the Spiderverse we will se moore of Spide in the list

Now that Aquaman has got his billion we know the Trinity plus GLC are also all capable of doing so if made in a way that appeals to the GA sufficiently.

Yes, it proved any Superheroe can top the charts if the movie is liked by GA, i wonder who's gonna be next

Never saw that coming. I’ll be curious to see how this affects the DCEU

They will definetly try to make more less know characters, i jus hope they can make another Superman film cuz' he's definetly underrated in the list, just bring a puppy to make Krypto and a good family/fun film and boom!! A hit!

GLC is a bit more of a question mark honestly. It seems Asia and Latin America aren't too fond of space operas, going by Star Wars and Star Trek, but anything can change if a movie is good.

Will see with Captain Marvel :o which my unpopular opinion, is like the Marvel/female version of GL :o

Those are both film series with decades of history so it’s a bit hard for those with no exposure to get quite as much from them. Also 2 isn’t a huge sample size lol, and we didn’t have too many underwater epics to compare to before either. :cwink: It may well be the case that space epics aren’t their thing, but I don’t think we know until new non-SW, non ST films of sufficient scale are tested there. I guess Cap Marvel can also tell us more.

I don't think anyone knows much about the other markets aside from giant robots always seem to be a hit, as well as huge amounts of CGI thats well done seem to do well with visually stunning colours.

It's really odd the success of the Aquaman on the difference between north american society and the rest of the world given the success it has.

And this changes things because it allows for them to realize theirs potential for much stronger international numbers, but I'm unsure how much of that they keep versus how much they keep of it that is domestic.

I don't think they are going to change much with the DCEU despite the movies success, I believe they'll maintain course and let the directors choose the direction and visual look of their own movies, Snyders JL I feel was mainly forced due to the tragic response and WB Directors wanting it to fall under that years revenue, and I imagine they won't make that mistake again.

Trying to take the same market that the MCU has (families and GA) is a bad move for long term success, they have no way to differentiate themselves and the movies will go the same way as Westerns (which were wildly popular till it became an over saturated market.)

The other interesting part is I would say Aquaman is probably the weirdest out of the JL given how many jokes have been made about him for so long, nobody pokes fun at Cyborg, Flash, WW, GL, Bats, or Supes in the same way they made a joke of Aquaman...and here we are leading the way for the DCEU with it.

Jan 25 to Jan 30 Update: Since the las update i made Aquaman tops both TDK & TDK Rises, becoming highest DC film

Above of:
Aquaman tops 2 films: The Dark Knight & The Dark Night Rises.

Either if Shazam! makes 375M or with Endgame, soon Batman Begins will be out of the Top50

Updated all of the info from the OP

With ENDGAME doing the amazing numbers it made and CM still banking had to update the places

I also went through history and added the films that used to be in The Top50 and were out due to new releases.
Plus, i learned that until April 2018 the list was a TOP10, so almost all the old movies never made it to the list, i also add them

Since 2011's Green Lantern movie, each DC film made it to the TOP until Shazam! so i need this one to make more than Into the Spiderverse
And Fun Fact; Oldest movie in the TOP50 is 1989's Batman

How about that? For that reason alone Aquaman should be the best DC film in the universe especially because it continues to make even more money

Only DC film in the top10 by ww grossing

Apparently, the general audience was willing to embrace Talks With Fish Man all along. Who'd have thunk it? ;)

Wish they had embraced Shazam the same way. That was an entertaining film.

Hopefully the sequel will do better, it was between Cap Marvel and the same day Shazam! was released they started selling EndGame tickets, it was just a bad timing, im pretty sure Shazam! 2 will do much more
