I was one of the unlucky people whose copy of GTA4 freezes all the time. Ever since I put this game into my 360, it's been freezing up and flashing me red rings of death sometimes. Ugh

I'm sure GTA didn't have all that much to do with it. It was just your systems time.

RROD sometimes? So sometimes if flases red and then it goes back to normal? the hell..

I fixed it. My GTA is still jacked up, but I had to clear my HD cache.

That's what you get for playing such a violent game. :oldrazz:

I thought about that too. I was like "All the innocent bystanders I destroyed in that game are probably laughing at me now" :D

I had to delete my old game in order to stop the freezing. I wasn't pleased

why not get the disc repaired or buy a new one?

One problem I've been having with my copy of GTA really pisses me off bigtime. I don't ever save, I just use Autosave, and it was working for me all the way until like, nowish. It now has reverted to a save I made a week ago, so I went way back in the game. Total bullcrap.

Is it really so hard to go and save? That's your own damn fault and has nothing to do with your copy of GTA. Autosaves aren't meant to be the end-all-be-all of your saved games. There's 12 slots, and the ability to save on your own in those slots, for a reason.

Or go ahead and continue not saving, and try and get all the pigeons and unique stunts or something of that nature, because they don't activate the autosave when you accomplish them. Then you'd have to start all over.

Steam is doing a thing so that you can save your games online, so if your pc or whatever ****s ups you can get back to were you were, they should do this with the xbox as well if it's possible or needed, it's a good idea.

Yeah, that happens to me too. Its utter ****.

Yeah, that happens to me too. Its utter ****.

Again... Is it really that big of an inconvenience to go to a safe house and save the game? That would prevent this "utter ****" from happening.

Yeah, if you dont save it via safehouse, just to be safe, you deserve whatever happens.

Something weird happened to me last night playing GTA, the screen started going wonky like maybe the AV cords were crapping out. The colors weren't looking right, almost going technicolor-ish. Shut down the system, then restarted it and everything was fine, just seemed really weird.

yeah... god forbid you rely on an 'auto-save' feature to actually save your game! that's ridiculous.

idiot.

Your system could be on it's last legs, though, before falling to it's knees.

It seems like an absolute certainty that it'll happen to every 360. It's happened to three different 360's that I've had.

Already sent it away to the Microsoft repair place guys

Should have it back this Friday :D

Ahahahahaha! I'm glad I have no interest in this game.
