GTA IV Trailer Countdown
Official website hints at big debut.

March 1, 2007 - Rockstar's very own Grand Theft Auto IV webpage has been updated today with a sure-fire excitement generator -- a countdown clock for the debut of the company's first trailer. The timer will stop on Thursday, March 29.

The teaser's debut will mark the first time since May of 2006 that any new information about the highly-anticipated sequel makes it to the public eye. Up until now, we've just been hit with a barrage of fake screenshots, false box art, and random forum posts that claim, "My cousin works for Rockstar and this is what he told me!"

Unfortunately for sandbox fans, no other information about the forthcoming video was given (will it be in high definition? Will it include Xbox 360 and PS3 footage, etc?). We did, however, contact Rockstar representatives to see if they'd comment further.
"Nope," remarked the spokesperson we chatted with. "There's nothing else we can add to that."

Damn. It looks like we'll just have to wait until the 29th to find out what the big deal is just like everybody else.

I'm really debating whether to get this on the 360 or PS3. Haven't bought the latter yet, but eventually plan to later on. Guess it all depends on which version of the game can offer more.

Im pretty sure both the 360 and PS3 version will be the same.

Been a fan since '97 when I got a free copy from a buddy in college. I basically copied the zip file from his computer via the local network t:

Aren't they using the Rockstar Advanced Game Engine, the same as in Table Tennis?

The 360 and PS3 versions will probably be the same but downloadable content may be different

Last I heard, 360 was getting exclusive mission while PS3 got an extra piece of land.

Thats a different engine. Euphoria is Dynamic Motion Synthesis.

They will be using whatever the new engine is they developed for next gen. The Euphoria engine is just a plug in. I believe the GTAIV engine is the one they are making NOIRE with too.
