Guardians of the galaxy 2 (video game) wish list

Hi everyone,

I have to say, I adored the first guardians of the galaxy game a lot more than I thought I would. Assuming they make more, what would you like to see in a sequel?

for me…
- mantis and Adam warlock as playable parts of the team
- moondragon and phylla vell
- shi’ar
- silver surfer
- updated combat, some of Star lords moves got a bit repetitive towards the end

Yeah, combat would be the big one for me. Definitely more combat variety would go a big way, and I'd also love some more interesting combat environments. I'd love that combat if it just felt a bit more crunchier, you know? Ironically, I feel like it's the one thing Square's Avengers game has over Guardians. I want fighting an enemy one on one to feel a bit more exciting? I loved hovering around as Star Lord but I wanted more control. Would be great to like, shoot one guy, jet boot through the air and crash tackle into another guy, kick him over to a team mate and have them finish the kill. Anything to build more immersion into the fighting would be dope.

Would also be super happy for them to lean into more RPG mechanics. Maybe not a full on loot system (because that can be pretty lazy) but more of an upgrade system, some more meaningful choices for the player to make as far as working on player builds.

The absolute wish list for me (although would be very ambitious) would be some kind of co-op. At least just 2 player co op. The banter and the team work would be so much more fun with another person... And especially if the 2nd player could pick their dialogue prompt responses too. Again, it would be ambitious and I'm almost positive they'd never do it, but I can dream haha
