Out of all the redesigns for the team the only one I don't mind is Rocket Raccoon's.

Because it doesn't really matter what Rocket Raccoon wears as long as he looks like Rocket Raccoon.

So it looks like things finally went towards El Mayimbe's way. Bautista is in fact Drax.

Can't say I'm excited about this. I have no idea whether this guy is good at acting or not. Something tells me that it's most likely the former.

Can someone point out bad acting in a movie to me? I seriously have never said to myself, 'wow this acting is terrible', when watching anything. I don't think so at least.

Are you trolling right now?

That's like asking someone how to find out when something tastes bad.

Watch Emma Roberts in anything. That's bad acting

Dead serious, maybe I'm just not a critical as you paid critics apparently all are. I take things as they are, don't expect everything to be up to some magic standard lol.

Don't think I've ever watched anything w/ Emma Roberts in it lol.

like I said I can't remember watching anything and said to myself something like 'wow the way this person is playing a character really makes me non-interested in this movie/tv show/whatever.'

Sorry just re-read over this and wanted to comment. Now I know this Bautista guy has only had a few movies or something, don't think I've seen any. But how can we be one to judge how he's going to portray a character that's never been seen on film before. I guess I just don't understand how someone can be a 'bad actor' when they've been in multiple films. On top of him profesionally wrestling for years which is basically acting.

It's very clear that you don't understand. That much is for sure.

Bautista was very good in House of the Rising Sun. I always thought it would be between him and momoa. good for dave...he won't dissapoint.

He does seem like a cool guy from a few interview's I've seen. For being such a big guy he seems to be like this tender and sweet dude. Apparently that's the role he plays in Man with the Iron Fists.

Maybe that's what they're also aiming for with Drax? This big brooding warrior who has a heart of gold.

Yeah I guess in the context of that 8 second clip, his hand motions and the way he articulates the line is odd. But for example when people critcize cobie smulders Maria Hill, what does she do wrong or how could she do better?

I'll disregard the snide remark for the sake of my ignorance towards this topic you seem to know so much about, but like I said how can you, or anyone, know an actor isn't going to do a role justice without ever seeing that role done before? I'm sure if a professional actor is cast for a certain roll the studio that take him or her is sure that he or she is going to portray that role the way the want him or her to portray that role. whether it be Bautista, or Mamoa, or Durand in this particular case.

It's not that hard to spot when someone is doing a terrible acting job. But there's also people who demand a Shakespearean for every single role. which is also wrong.

For instance you spoke of Cobie Smulders ? Now I only know Maria Hill from Avengers: EMH but I'd say she did a good enough job. I also don't see what people are talking about when they say her acting sucked. Perhaps a line here or there could have come out better.

Off the top of my head you should check any scene from Modern Family featuring Manny Delgado. That's bad acting. He's a kid but still. Nothing he says comes out natural. You just feel him drumming up the words from the script.

That's quite a good question actually. There must be loads.

1st one I can think of is the little kid who loses his twin brother in the Clint Eastwood film 'Hereafter'. I literally have no idea how he got the part.

Not very good. :oldrazz:

As a wrestler he was alright, for me he peaked early on (2003-2005) and just went downhill ever since.

Is that the threshold now? "At least he won't destroy the movie?"

Shouldn't he be making it better?

they might have reduced Drax to a more physical role than an acting one, who knows...so in that case it wouldn't matter too much who they cast... I say lets see something before we judge...hell I personally was surprised by Pratt being cast as Star-Lord

I can't really see that scene being done that much better. His character in the film didn't really require an amazing actor or even much acting. I didn't think he was worse than the rest of the cast. Even Russell Crowe sort of phoned that one in. Not the best film to judge anyone's acting ability.

Any SyFy Original Film. Actually, pretty much any movie shown on SyFy.
