Don't Know if this has been posted yet, but if not...
An AC-130H Gunship fights Scorponok, at least as it seems.

Here is the link to the Info, since I don't think TFW2005 would want me posting the direct info...

Hmmm...it's cool.
But what I want to know is why Scorponok would be going after a village like that? Couldn't just be for random mayhem. I wonder...why would the Decepticon waste energy to attack a village? Guess the village could just have gotten in his way?

Maybe Scorpinok can eat materials and convert them to energon. that would be a good reason to attack a village.

Maybe it's just a Michael Bay film.

Even if it has no relevance to the film, I am willing to watch it.

Yeah, a bunch of soldiers dig themselves in. Although I'm not sure why the Decepticons are so intent on killing them. Maybe they have something the Cons need but nothing springs to mind.

One rumors says the Military have Megatron captured and have been studying him for years. (he's the 'Con frozen in ice in the 1800's in the flashback at the start of the movie)

Yeah, that rings a bell. Probably the reason why Megatron doesn't have an Earth alt-mode.

Plus I just remembered one of the soldier peeps takes an image of the Decepticons so that's probably why they were singled out for special treatment.

I've not yet read this rumor, but I like it!!

Yeah that does sound like a cool idea as does this action sequence:up:

If the rumor is true about megatron, that certainly would validate the whole "megatron shows up during the final act of the film" thing and makes it seem like it would certainly work in the story. I'm figuring that if this is true, then perhaps through most of the film Starscream carries on like he's the decepticon commander.

How's that for being in line with the original continut(ies);)...

Megatron being incased in ice is gay as hell IMO
Now that would piss me off more than any alt form.
Megatron needs to always be leading the decepticons, the whole movie.

A HUGE Part of me agrees with you, but at the same time Part of me doesn't. It all depends on the final execution. It could be awesome, could totally suck.

I don't mind Megs showing up until the end. It's a homage to the original story in the first comic miniseries ('cept of course it was Shockwave that showed up at the end).

It could be made to work.
And think about the pent-up suspense and huge cheers and clapping when he shows up to kick-ass. It'd be awesome.
