Guys do you wear underwear under your swim shorts?

I'm might be going to the beach on saturday. And I always don't wear underwear under my swim shorts. Im just wondering if you guys do as well.

yep, double layer that ****. my boxers stick out and I look like a jackass but whatever, they're in the water 90% of the time if I ever do go swimming which is rarely.

I don't wear underwear under my swim shorts, why would you want to do that anyways? I mean, swim shorts are made for swimming and adding underwear would seem to feel odd to me. But either way I don't think it matters.

I haven't swam in 10 years. But when I did, it was just with the shorts. The underwear would be worn with the street clothes.

Sadly....yes. I know you shouldn't, but...I don't want my junk falling out of place if I climb out of the water too quickly. I also need an extra shield if a crab gets too friendly.

I know people who swin with underwear under their trunks, but I don't personally. I mean if you bring them with you when you get back dressed, you get your other clothes wet. Even if you bring an extra pair, that's just more laundry to wash, and seems like a waste of laundry detergent to me.

Holy **** swimming in your underwear is nasty. Check the pool rules people, NO STREET CLOTHES ALLOWED. If you're going to bring a pair especially to wear to the pool I guess it's ok, but wearing any street clothes in to the pool just results in getting the pool way dirtier then it already is. If you're really that protective about your privates, buy a speedo and wear it under your shorts, or buy shorts that have support in them.

I'm a lifeguard, and we have to deal with this all them time. It really contributes to pool dirtiness. For the love of God don't do it.

I used to, because I used to have this fear of my trunks somehow coming off in the water and being left nude. Now I don't care, so I just go in my trunks.

I pee in public pools all the time. How does it taste?

If there is not a net in the swim shorts then yes. Board shorts don't have nets and I don't like it when your shorts are wet and you get out and your junk is clearly visible and if your shorts are well short, then your junk could try to make a get away down your legs.

I use to lifeguard at a pool as well for a couple of years and one of the grossest things I saw was guys wearing thin yellow and white board shorts and then getting out of the water...you could see everything.

The grossest thing was stopping two people having sex in one of the corners and picking up condoms and beer cans from all the people that fence hopped at night. No wait I take that back, someone pooped in the water resevoir at the top of a toilet.

hmm ive wondered this too.. cuz alot of trunks don't have the netting anymore, and when it comes to board shorts ive seen guys do both.

Don't know where you buy your swimsuits, but they have their own underwear built in where I shop.

If I'm over a friends house and we decide to go swimming and I don't have a bathing suit, I either go with my underwear or skinny dip.

Not that I know anything about this but I wager there are some guys out there who are pretty well hung that at least need to at least wear a Speedo underneath their trunks to keep it all in without their junk playing hide 'n seek.
