i saw the first episode on anime network on demand its pretty good what do you think of the show:ninja:

I think it's a great show. Nice animation, good English voice acting.

I already have the DVD, the English ADR director gave me a copy at Oni-Con, and I got it signed by all the actors.

Volume 1 has four episodes and some nice extras.

It's similar to the original 12 episode OVA series, but more fleshed out. It's a good update for Guyver.

Been looking forward to this, been a Guyver fan for many many years and when I first heard about the new one I thought this was to good to be true.

Now all we need is for someone to print or re-print the manga in the US.

thought you guy might want to know about this.

Guyver vol. 2 coming out 1/2/07

I love the oringial series plus I have the anime movie and the two live-action movies. After watching episode 1 I fell in love the series all over again. I can't wait for the other episodes to premiere Anime-OD. Does anyone know when the other episodes will be on Anime-OD?

I liked the first Guyver series, but the animation felt dated. Plus it was exceptionally annoying to have the story stop half way.

I've seen the first episode, and I have to say I was impressed. Crisper animation, less comedy moments than the original animation, and best of all, I hear it covers the entire Guyver manga.

I may well wait until they release a boxset of the episodes, but I will most likely buy it.

Looks good, Volume 2 will be the one that comes with the box set for the series as well.

The animation felt dated because it was made in the late 80's, that is the first OVA series.

At first I thought it was going to be stupid, do to seeing that terrible movie.

But I watched it and was surprised, the animation is wonderful and the storyline is quite nice.

I picked it up acouple days ago and its fricken awsome, pity there wasent more than four eps on it. I was kinda hoping that Guyver 3 would show up in this vol but he didnt, good news is he'll show up on the first ep of vol. 2.

I coulda sworn we saw Guyver 3 somewhere on volume 3.

So just wondering, what appears in the prologue, does that actually happen later on?

well they show Guyver 3 in the opening theme song but not anywhere in the episodes on vol. 1. But the preview for episode 5 said that Guyver 3 will show up in that episode.

i taped the first ep off anime onDEMAND but where are the following episodes?

It sure looks like it. I'll have cover art asoon as I come across it.

Yeah they are using an 8 week release schedule for Guyver.

Well I picked up volume 2 with the artbox which is really nice. I got to meet a lot of the English cast and the English ADR director, Charlie Campbell, when they had premieres of the anime at Alamo Drafthouse Houston. With that I was able to get most of them to sign my volume 1 DVD.

dude, the new guyver OVA is awesome! the only thing that disappointed me is the ending.

MINOR SPOILER

it ends about half walf through the 10th book manga, meaning the show only tells the story of the first 9 and half manga books, and theres i think 23 books out up till now. but hopefully this means there will be more eps of the guyver anime, that would be sweet!

End SPOILER

hey i have always wondered how do you get the anime channel?

If you have Timer Warner, just go to the onDemand menu, then down to the cutting edge and the Anime Network is there.
