MJ. Her and Peter were made for eachother in these movies. Their love beats all odds. I would like to see Gwen be a close friend to them though,following Harrys death.

Gwen, simply because I don't want Kirsten to have any screen time. But whoever they use, hopefully they'll stop with the damsel in distress schtick. It's been 3 movies, stop it already.

If it was me, I wouldn't hesistate in picking Gwen Stacey. But realistically, Spider Man should be with Mary Jane.

Peter and MJ will always be together. Peter isnt even attracted to Gwen...strange man I know,lol.

Gwen should be friends to them though.

What Ive noticed about MJ in these movies though,is that she is a slapper and heartbreaker,lol. Dating Harry but really in love with Spider-Man...then Peter. Dating John Jameson,but still loves Peter and leaves John at his wedding. Dating Peter,but almost cheats with Harry.

Its about time Spidey starts having feelings for another...Black Cat. Although he is tempted,he will never cheat on MJ,cause he loves her too much.

She gets upset with Peter about in 3,huh,shes got a nerve with how many hearts shes broken...slapper.

I've hear this before many times, from fans wanting her to be the new Harry, or Peters gal pal, ano also be friends with MJ...

it just wouldn't work out like that, it would seem (at least me) very forced an unrealistic
the way she was used in 3, being the source of MJ's jealousy and distrust in Peter

the way he used her to try to get back at MJ

that’s not forgive and forget kinda stuff

at most her involvement should be as Peters class mate, that there still very strong tension between them, but, they still have to see each other almost ever day
Peter would naturally want her to forgive him, and want her to understand (eventhough, he can’t fully explain it to her), he should be trying to make things up with her, and maybe she gives him at least that, so, they can get long as lab partners, but, I wouldn't go much farther then that

MJ should get over the jealousy, an be ok with them working or studying together, but, I can't see them becoming freinds

I still say 4 years would be too much of a leap
especially, if done just to skip over the problems leave be hide in his life by the events of 3
too just jump ahead in the storyline to where everything is ok again, seems kind of cop out

I have a funny feeling that Hobgoblin will be in this. You cant just ignore the issue of..."OH MY GOD! THE VILLAIN GREEN GOBLIN AND THE ANTI-HERO THE NEW GOBLIN WERE NORMAN AND HARRY OSBORN. THEIR HIDEOUT IS IN THEIR APARTMENT.

How does that get sorted out? Unless Bernard keeps it hidden. Or burns the building down. Jason Macendale should keep it guarded.

gwen hands down, you introduce the characters, you might as well finish the storyline. Plus people are sick and tired of kirsten dunst and the kidnapping routines. If they continue with mary jane and peter and ignore the stacy's like as if they are non-exsistent then you might as well reboot the franchise. Just no more unvieling of his identity especially to gwen when we all know thats never happened in the comics. Peter wanted to tell her but after the accident between him and doc ock causing the death of her father, she blamed spider-man which caused him to keep his mouth shut.

no director is ever 100 % in control, its the studio with the money and decision makings. Maybe 90 % at most.

what are you kidding ? Even before the symbiote took over, they did the upside down kiss at the parade lol If thats not attraction and a complete slap to the face to mj then I dont know what is. Gwen stacy was peter parkers first true love in the comics and spidey def had a web on for gwen. Did you happen to notice his facial expressions during the resturant scene ?
