Obviously the first thing one would notice about the recent Dylan Baker interview is all the Lizard mentions, as the hype for the Lizard to appear in SM4 starts gearing up... but there was one little bit of information that sometimes gets overlooked.

"I am in Spider-Man 3, and my wife Becky Ann Baker is also in the movie, she plays James Cromwell's wife and Bryce Dallas Howard's mother," says the actor. "Dr. Conners' wife has not made an appearance yet, at least not that I know of."

So, it appears we'll be seeing the usually unseen and unmentioned mother Stacy...

Agreed. We never saw MJ's mother so why bother introducing Gwen's, especially seeing as she rarely if ever existed in the comics. Sounds like casting clutter to me.

Interesting that they're fleshing Gwen Stacy's character so much.And how come no Mr.Connors? I guess they're saving that for SM4.

Becky Ann Baker's career isn't a huge one -- mainly made up of TV appearences -- so it would not be a huge leap of the imagination to think that she has a tiny role; it could be just a scene like at the funeral we have had pictures of, and she will probably have little to no lines . . . just a favour from Sam to Dylan.

I'll wager she's just there in the background...and wasn't there a set photo from what was reported to be a scene at Gwen's house? If so, that's probably her main or only scene.
