Jennifer Lopez Drops Out of Dallas
Source: Star August 3, 2006

Celebrity gossip magazine Star reports that Jennifer Lopez will not star as Sue Ellen in 20th Century Fox's Dallas, to be directed by Gurinder Chadha. Lopez's rep, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, confirmed the news.

John Travolta, Shirley MacLaine, and Luke Wilson are still attached to star in the big screen remake of the popular CBS drama that ran from 1978 to 1991.

Thank god.

EDIT: Link.

The only tv-to-movie role should play is Lady Jaye from GI Joe.

I wouldn't mind seeing her in porno either. :o

and Jason Lee for Shipwreck!

Yeah thank God but the person(s) who picked her to begin with is still in charge so this movie will still suck.

Wait a minute you guys actually care about Dallas the movie.

I watched it as a kid. JR was like the Lex Luthor of Dallas.

Lopez as Sue Ellen really made no sense anyway...

Dude, get the **** outta my head!! I was just thinking yesterday, he'd be perfect! LOL!

The "I have no idea why they still let these people appear in or make movies" list:

1) Kevin Costner
2) Ben Affleck
3) Uwe Boll
4) Jennifer Aniston
5) Christian Slater
6) Tim Allen
7) J. Lo

Why does there need to be a big screen version of Dallas? I think Hollywood needs to come up with a few more original ideas...or atleast adapt books!
