Well, he's not going to win this one. One battle that he'd be over his head in. Unless he had a semi-auto grenade launcher on hand and the ability to dodge the hails of gunfire and hand-to-hand from a "cyborg" warrior with fighting skills far beyond the level of the best human fighter.

He can jump off a space station, through space, have a bomb explode behind him, before slamming into a big metal ship. So yeah, he probably can. And then there's the fact that Solid Snake, as a normal guy that's just a "good soldier", would basically be a Marine. Have you ever tried fighting a marine in halo? Not very hard to kill those.
