I know, I know in the comics he's the cyborg Superman but in the show things seem to be a bit different this time around. I think I got a pretty good hunch who he might be and I though I run my theory by you guys.

I think he's the Martian Manhunter.

Yeah this has been discussed a lot on here, I think it's possible but given who he is I reckon he is just a Cyborg. Although given he knew what Alex was doing in the last episode it would fit with MM's mind reading skills although she was on a Computer so maybe it was Cyborg Superman tapping into the Computer she is using.

I'm fairly certain that if they were to put the Martian Manhunter on this show, he'd be detective John Jones.

They have at least a little regard for the basics of the source material.

Probably true but we can speculate, it's fun

Nonsense, we all know General Swanwick is Martian Manhunter. ;)

Perhaps in case Supes went rogue Henshaw may have undergone some "ehancements" thanks to Dr. Jeremiah Danvers' research on Superman. Maybe the red eyes has to do with Red Kryptonite?

After last nights episode,
I don't think John Jonnz would work so actively against alien species, red eyes or not.

Depends how long he's been "active". There is no reason he could not have been a detective "John Jones" in the past. After what happened in Flash I'd not be suprised if SG is gonna pull a Dr. Wells on us.

I continue to hope not, because Henshaw's behavior and personality is about as far from what I'd want to see from J'onn without going outright villainous. I suppose its possible J'onn replaced a prior actual Henshaw, and is staying in-character, but that seems a stretch.

Maybe he's not MM OR Cyborg Superman. Maybe he's Cyclops!

Having not yet scene Human For a Day I did see the reveal that Henshaw is
the Martian Manhunter
as many of us had speculated.

Admittedly I wasn't sure they would go down this route but I did speculate and enjoyed the speculation about it. Some were too happy to say there was no way it would be that.

After last night the thread starter deserves a no prize.

ya this thread is now moot from the reveal last night.

I'm glad they made him a real suit. Although the effects last night were far from terrible, it was obvious that his outfit was computer generated.

I don't care for him being seven feet tall, though.

Bear in mind that Hank Henshaw "died" in his own comic origin story. As long as the circumstances of his death could plausibly allow him to become a cyberkinetic ghost, he could still be around.

I think he will be, wouldn't shock me if they changed the MM actor somewhere down the line and gave him become detective John Jones.

I think we're more likely to see Jeremiah come back as a version of "Cyborg Superman" than we are to see the real Henshaw show up, especially since we've already seen Harewood bring that character to life via flashback.
