I'm referring to the heavy percussion, string driven and low horn vibe. Sounds dark and brooding.
well superman is gonna go through dark moments i like the balance of uplifting music like trailer music which is track "Sent here for a Reason" as well as stuff like "Oil Rig" which is very aggressive
It's not actual surround sound, though. It's a special mix for using some sort of phasing manipulation to SIMULATE surround sound when listening on HEADPHONES. It's not a traditional multi speaker encoding.
You don't need anything more than stereo for music.
Yeah, you don't need anything more than stereo, but 5.1 is still better if you have it, especially since movie scores are mixed for theatre surround sound.
These samples are incredible. Looks like it'll be purchased and be in the ride along with TDKR soundtrack.
It's the little things like these that separate the good superhero movies from truly great ones.
These samples are growing on me a LOT. Has a very ethereal sound versus the hard pounding and the Inception-brass. I even hear some western-vibes in there.
Dis gun be good.
I have to wait till mid-july to get it though. What up with that?
You need more than stereo for actual surround sound, which is what the other person was excited about, so I thought it would help to clarify to that person that it's not what they're getting.
Ah, well. Thanks for the clarification.
I think they are using what is likely to be the main theme for TV spot # 3. Sounds excellent!
I like the Oil Rig soundtrack. Sounds epic. Dem drums.
Official Warner Bros. Release Of Trailer 3 Music!
Outstanding, great find. Nice to have a copy without all of the dips.
I only wish we could download it.
Even though it's still streaming quality, there's clearly more depth to this mix. Also sounds like there's a lot more going on instrumentation wise (some of which may just be hearing the piece in isolation): Pedal steel 'synth' supporting the piano in the opening is more obvious. The upper register piano showing up in the climactic parts. Plus the drums at the end seem to have a low 'synth' (struck bass pedal steel guitar?) added in.
so, it's confirmed that the track Sent Here for a Reason is indeed the trailer music??
I'm going to assume that's also the main theme.
Better quality please WB.
But not, June 2013...when the score is scheduled to be released.
All the trailers have been compressed, too. That bluray is pretty far off.
you beat me to it
great music either way
YT Version of Trailer 3 music - "What Are You Going to Do When You Are Not Saving the World?"
i found something new for his mos score!
thanks, right click and "Save As"
Just listened to the track posted on the main page, I'm hyped for this score.
Are we to assume that is from the score itself, like 'Flight' or something, or merely just providing us with the trailer music?
That full song from the score got me so amped up, goosebumps all over. I wish I could find a download of it bad quality or not.
