Anyone think because there are two different versions of the score being released that this may be why it hasn't leaked or been streamed online? You would think WB would want people to go after the deluxe version... so it may be counterproductive to stream the original motion picture soundtrack.

Definitely. Everyone's so jacked about their specific tracks but I'm so looking forward to the Suite. I loved Hans' suites with The Dark Knight Rises. 28 Minutes of pure Man of Steel bliss!

I am not exaggerating when I say Hans Zimmer's involvement with this movie has made me more interested in Superman.

I take it that you're not very fond of Superman? Well, for Hans' sake go see the movie and fork over that dough :woot:

I'm diggin the whole damn thing...

y'all may wanna shoot me but......I did NOT care for his Batman music. Like at all. And when they said he was scoring Man of Steel I cried and a part of me died inside. But now since I've heard a good bit of it....boy was I wrong! And I'm glad I can admit that. This is some damn good music here!

I'm not a Superman hater by any stretch. I know a bit about him and value his place in comics and society. Though yes, I usually have focused more on other characters in the past. I'm a fan of Hans and I feel he's captured the character perfectly with stuff like 'This is Clark Kent'. I can put on a cue and the spirit of Superman is right there for me to access. I've ordered All Star Superman, Birthright and Kingdom Come - and I'll be imagining these sounds in my head when I read them.

I can't be the only one that hears the sound of a train chugging away in the beginning of Arcade right?

I find that awesome. "More powerful than a locomotive".

I hear it. That was exactly my first thought! Also, in some tracks -- the drums/percussion have a cape flapping sound to it. That's what I hear with my bose headphones anyway. It sounds amazing!

Awesome. I never thought about that. I know the beginning of "DNA" is very Close Encounters Of The Third Kind-esque.

Really have to hand it to Zimmer in how much care he put into this OST it honestly shows.
Awesome. Seriously this score is downright amazing. Makes my eyes a bit watery at parts.

Listening to the full version of "This is Clark Kent" for the first time and it's seriously beautiful. The beginning portion gives me the same feelings that Macrotus from Batman Begins does. :hrt: :waa:

Speaking for myself - Williams theme is good and all, but moving away from that has been one of the best decisions the franchise has made. It's generated talk, excitement and contributed to the 'of the times' vibe.

Agree about moving away from the Williams theme was a great decision but let's be honest...Williams theme is more than good. It's a masterwork, that theme.

    I completely agree AnneFan.

I adore William's theme but it was due time to get something else and I can tell you that I'm more than happy with the result. ;)

    It's wonderful.

Perhaps the full stream will be up via WaterTower on Monday before the world premiere? That would make sense somewhat.

Me too...but he's pretty much why I'm somewhat intrigued about Lone Ranger and Rush. Although he's going to be doing Steve McQueen's Twelve Years a Slave which should be very VERY interesting to see Hans do.
