Ill never forget watching this film for the first time, joker scared the hell out of me. I was like 4 yrs old. Great Movie for its time and still enjoyable to this day.

Wow... I wasn't even born when this came out!

But I grew up with it in my childhood on video (which I still have and is in awful condition) and on TV... So many great memories. Now that I'm 19 it really is a nostalgic experience for me!

The movie has it's flaws with storytelling but Burton rose above them with his visuals.

20 years on... and still as powerful as it's always been - perhaps more so!

They do that as a way to acknowledge that they are also main actors on the movie. For example, the credits in Batman say, "Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton in Batman" but it's really Jack Nicholson, Michael Keaton, and Kim Basinger.
