Harley Quinn....Just Because

What no one has picks of the Azarello Joker Harley? One of her best incarnations imo, a psychotic stripper whats not to love?

Why's she a stripper? Is the Azzarello Joker story not in continuity?

We don't really know is she a stripper or not. The gangs at a strip bar and Harley Quinn decides to dress infront of the people.. So sure the guys' see her breasts for a moment but yeah she doesn't care.

I believe Joker is in the Azzarello universe.. Which means the same universe as Lex Luthor: Man of Steel.

Man Of Steel isn't in main DCU continuity?

I haven't played AA yet, so is there an in-game reason for Harley dressing like that (EDIT: other than the fact that she's now running an Asylum, although it's not like she needed to change costumes for that)? I know I should be like "OoOoh! Hawt!" like every other guy, but the center in my brain for rolling my eyes over change for change's sake has been so overly developed from reading DC comics for the last few years that Harley's costume in the game has only made me go "Huh?" whenever I've looked at it so far.

There are a couple inconsistencies and some things where you kind of need to fill in the story gaps for yourself, like why are Superman and Batman fighting? But there's no reason that has ever come to mind as to why it couldn't be in continuity, unless someone high up at DC has specifically said that it's not.

In the game it's just a case of her dressing up to match whatever her and Joker are doing. In this case I guess..a nurses outfit? Outside that there's really not a reason. I think the developer said it fit with their "edgy" world or something, but yeah, it all about the cheesecake stuff.

I always just assumed it was. I've never read it myself or anything.

Don't worry, Spike, I hated Harley's redesign too. In the game, they play it off as Harley just being playful and dressing up like a bona fide nurse while she and the Joker run wild in Arkham, but we all know the Rocksteady devs just figured cleavage and visible fishnets would sell better.

I'll say this much. Minus the hat, I love it from the neck up.

I thought it was funny that they replaced the jester's floppy bell... things... with pigtails arranged the same way. Maybe Harley's just really used to the weight of them. :)

Well, outside of the leotard, she's always been shown [at least in DCAU] with pigtails.
