I agree with Belefonte's end of the pointless Cuban embargo and the wiretapping, but considering that he supports a rising autocrat, he's full of it calling parts of the United States government a gestapo.

You know, I myself am not a big fan of Bush, but I also think the celebrities bashing him should really back off a bit, especially if they're jut doing it to boost their fading popularity. I don't have a problem with them voicing their opinions, but they should know when they cross a line. I think calling Bush a terrorist is crossing the line a bit. Even the most ardent of his haters realize he's not a terrorist, just a bad president.
