Harry using Original Green Goblin Costume?

Being that the Spider-Man 3 Merchandise pics are finally coming out, does anyone think that Harry will be donning the Spider-Man 1 Green Goblin costume given that there is a Superhero Squad (or whatever those kiddy toys are) Green Goblin with the new Glider coming out, also not to mention a regualr Green Goblin action figure????

I really hope he uses the original costume, that would be sweet.

Outlook; doubtful. Some people are hoping the same thing. Peter does rip the New Goblin suit off of Harry, so it does leave it open to him using it later in the movie. But I really think he'll just pop in with the same old NG suit.

nope, I don't think he will forr a couple of reasons. harrys not as much a phsyco as his father was and harry is not the green goblin. they only released a normal green goblin figure because of the spider-man classic lines or because they want to sell the villians from the first two movies again. It may look like harry will wear the green goblin costume but trust me, he won't.

I still find it a little suspicious on that list of all the toys they were realsing that Hobgoblin was on there. Of course there were lots of other non-movie villains that were on the list too, but they were in a seperate section of the list while Hobgoblin was in the was near the top by other movie characters.

Possible. I think it's more likely he will use the original Glider sense Peter destroyed the new one.

He could wear a pink fluffy tutu for all I care and it'd be about on par with what he's currently wearing. I doubt we'll see the old GG costume (which was pretty bad, but... still better than what he's wearing now), and I would have loved to see a new reinvisioning of the Goblin attire... but that's even more doubted.

Yea, when he came to Harry, the only thing that peeved me off was his glider, Daddy dearest's glider was awesome they spent more time on designing it. I have a feeling I may grow to like Harry's glider when I see the movie, especially hearing how he kicks it side ways, so he rides it like a board and a glider.

You probably already saw this, but on one of those "rumor sites" it said that Harry doesn't go back to help Peter, but instead goes back to fight him, but changes his mind after he risks his life saving MJ and Gwen. You believe any of that LotN?

They probably would have mentioned him wearing the original costume if he did wear it. I doubt that info's true though, wasn't it Film Ick who said that? Besides, we saw MJ holding his black glove in the trailer, so in my mind that rules out any green costume.

yeah, it would be very stupid for harry to wear the GG costume in the battle royal and talk to peter right befor he dies, it wouldn't be right. I don't understand why people are thining harry will wear the GG suit, the action figure of the green goblin in a spidey3 package is the same reason Dock Ock is in a spidey3 package......advertisement.

He will have no way of getting his suit back though
The suit will get effed up anyways in the Peter Harry airial fight..and Peter rips open his suit (from the desctiption of the ces footage) And then Peter takes him to the hospital...Harry wouldn't even get his suit back

The original Green Goblin costume was the embodiment of Norman's near psychotic nature. For Harry to don the costume wouldn't make much sense. The reason (as someone pointed out a time ago) that he's in the rather simple and sleek "New Goblin" outfit and not a full blown Goblin-esque getup is because his motive is calculated and focused: "I want Peter Parker dead." Whereas with the Green Goblin costume Norman's mind was chaotic; the dude was just a full blown cold-blooded killer, going after May and trying to kill Mary Jane (something Harry wouldn't do).

So no, Harry shouldn't use the original costume because it wouldn't make sense for the character to do so.
