The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya has been licensed by Bandai recently. Here are a couple of auditions of Mikuru Asahina(right) and Yuki Nagato(left). Each have 4 choices, what do your ears think?

p.s.: Don't judge a book by it's cover. This is going to DVD, not televised on American TV..and Japanese aren't sick, they're more open-minded.

As I said, "Anime(like this one)", that means, is not in the category of Pokemon. Anime like Mai Hime, Shakugan no Shana, Neon Genesis Evangelion... oh right, you only watch the kids stuff.

They're in high school, not 5th grade. If you watched the whole blackmail scene, maybe you'd actually laugh; or maybe you're just too sensitive.

Not saying reading the manga is bad, but sometimes adjustments have to be taken into consideration, like comicbook movies

Then again, I've watched more anime titles than you have read manga and the anime you've watched combined. So you aren't that mainstream and incapable of knowing the variety that Japan shows outside the U.S.
Anime is originally made for Japanese audiences, not for people like SSJ4_Mikael here who has no idea and is being totally immature about it.

No they're not.
Chibi characters are deformed, much smaller, more bloated with rounder heads, and they have no fingers.

Guys ligthen up. This is NOT a kiddie show. It's more mature themed animated comedy series. It's a crazy and silly little anime show. Why are you getting so worked up about the content?

Do any of you actually watch TV these days? Good God.

There's speculation that the choices for Mikuru's voice are:

1 - Michelle Ruff
2 - Stephanie Sheh
3 - Dorothy Fahn
4 - Sherry Lynn

Stephanie Sheh is also said to be #4 for Yuki, not sure about the rest.
