The Dark Knight Harvey Dent Called Me!!/Calls Related to Dent (New Call on 4/18)

Everyone assumed the call was from Dent because of the 000-000-0000 number and the fact it was ABOUT Dent. But it has since come to light that it's a call from Candoloro and ccfabg.org. This conversation would be most appropriate under that thread, but it's kind of too late for that, so here it is.

I think that everything will be alright even though this thread has strayed off topic, lol.

LOL I finally got called this morning, but I was getting ready to leave so I hung up. :oldrazz:

My phone rang but when I picked it up it was the survey for the ccfabg

I just got on the comp and read about all this, sadly assuming I wasn't getting the call because I haven't been online as much this week (it's finally kinda nice out).

I called the number, did the survey with the access numbers, heard the recording.

Two minutes later, I got the call from 000-000-0000. LOL.

I think the guy is right. I should leave town, take a vacation!

My voicemail got part of it, but, oh well, I digress

Huh, I missed mine because I was out running, but my voicemail didnt pick up any of it. O well. I didnt really care because I called the number about an hour or 2 before hand.

One of the first times I called the number I was on my cell phone and my work phone at the same time. I was listening to the call and punching in numbers, and noticed that when I was talking (on my work phone, yes I can walk and chew gum at the same time) the Dent call kept starting over, like it had voice recognition.

Maybe there is a vocal password?

Harvey could lose this race.

What will Nolan do if he loses the race - how can he go back and fix the film?

I just got the call too, but I hung up, I took it yesterday in the middle of all the hubbub.

Heh, I just realized that I do actually have a ticket to VT for June, so I'm even following the mob's orders.

I coughed during the second question, and she started asking the question over again.

I wonder...

Dammit. I should have come up with this. :lmao:

And this is why I think the Viral Campaign is foolish.

Games chasing a prize, a la a picture, trailer, etc - is fine.

Attempting to concern us that Harvey could lose - WTF?!

That's possible, I think, but it's also possible that it's just programmed to start when it hears your voice (which is why if you answer, it won't start talking until you say "hello" or something, I think). Also, a system that works with touch tones like this one bases them on the different sounds that each number makes, so interrupting with another sound, even if it's not a tone, would probably confuse it.

I mean it's clear that there is better stuff out there that 42 E has used, like the "needle" thing with delos, so I still think this is possible.

Yes, we know Harvey is going to win and that he's not corrupt, but seeing how it all transpires is a story that likely won't be dealt with in the film (certainly not to this degree). It's its own entertainment and just a simple way to give fans something to do; maybe get a few smiles if a passing reference is made to Garcetti, Worthington, Notaro or any other related Easter Eggs in TDK. I don't think 42 is trying to insult our intelligence with who wins the DA race. :funny:

Seeing Dent faced with a few obstacles on his path to DA isn't that different of a conveyance than seeing The Joker greatly imperil Gotham City before Batman ultimately saves the day. We know how both are going to turn out.

Actually what I'm really thinking will happen is...well, for one, 42 E could be going on faith alone that we'd elect Harvey Dent given our candidates, which is pretty fair--I think the majority of us would vote for him. I mean it's possible we could organize a massive movement to all vote for Worthington or Garcetti, but improbable, and in the unlikely event that it happened, they could always rig the election or, alternatively, since they're supposed to be in June (I think?) create an event that knocks out whichever candidate wins post-election.

It's also possible that Worthington and Garcetti (it really looks like Garcetti's not gonna make it to the election at this point, if we're right about the mob ties and, uh, I think we are) could end up dropping out of the race and Dent could win by default. There are still a lot of other measures to vote on, which is kind of exciting because even if they don't show in the movie, they'll probably inform some measure of the game.

Hey guys, one question...
The phone call that everybody is talking about is the one about the Survey or there it is another one after the survey call?
Because I got the survey call but it went down in the middle of the questions...

Help please...!

Ohhh OK, thanks Dan!
And after the poll, we receive another call or not?
Because I saw that BOF had a voicemail of Jim Gordon, is this true?

Voicemail? We've gotten an e-mail from Gordon, but I haven't heard any voicemail or phone calls from him since signing up for /delos.

I would guess his "Voicemail from Jim Gordon" was a missed call from 000-000-0000 that Jett assumed was from Gordon after he read the email.

Gordon said he would contact us next week, why would he call us now?

Yeah, I know, everybody is getting an e-mail from Gordon with instructions that everyone knows, that's why I'm asking because he said (BOF) that he got a voicemail of Gordon talking... BS??

Like I said, I think so. He didn't post the voicemail or give any details from it. I think it was just a missed call from 000-000-0000, the poll.
