The Dark Knight Harvey Dent/Two Face Thread

So my info is wrong, eh?

I'm not saying that. I was just saying that the clip shown at WW left off all of this scene except for the very last part. That doesn't mean there couldn't be more before or after what we are being shown now.

Umm, yes actually. It does now that we've seen this scene.

I just thought about it and the Pizza viral led to two-face footage,
Oh the irony!!!!

Love that Joker

Trust me, he's scarred by acid. I don't know how anyone could light a man's face on fire in a courtroom.

Are we entirely sure he gets scarred in a courtroom, though? It seems incredibly wasteful, and not to mention too coincidental, for Harvey to be lying on the ground with that specific half of his face drenched in gasoline, then seeing an explosion of a building Gordon is approaching, then seeing Gordon being fought to keep out of by his fellow officers.

Truthfully, it all seems fairly obvious. Dent makes a big move for Maroni, Maroni gets pissed, kidnaps him, and lights him ablaze inside a warehouse. Gordon gets a tip on where Maroni would be holding him, and arrives to arrest Maroni, but is too late as it explodes. Knowing his friend is inside, Gordon rushes to get in, but is pulled back by his fellow officers as Dent is left to burn. A couple of scenes later, and we're treated to this scene, as Dent makes a surprise re-appearance as Two-Face.

I think this acid business is simply Eckhart acknowledging Harvey's comic ordeals, so he doesn't have to spill what happens in the film, and how it differs.

I honestly thought the Pizza viral wasnt going to lead to anything.
I mean what else could they of gave us?
Then BAM! Two-face. Or like a quarter of half a face. Or maybe half of a half face. Making it a Quarter-Face.

Anywho. It was awesome and im not complaining

Wasn't it debunked a few weeks ago that the image of Havey laying on the ground was a flipped image? So....yeah.

That's outright lying. If the fire thing was actually the case, then they wouldn't say anything at all and just give the "I'm not at liberty to say *wink*."

Not to mention that Eric Roberts, in an interview, said they stayed true to the comics regarding him and Dent.

 Just because the clip ends with Harvey Two Face saying "Half" doesn't mean that's how the scene will end in the movie.

I know that.

Which brings me back to what I said about this scene having been condensed from the actual scene in the movie.

Like the WW footage was condensed even shorter.

It sorta makes sense When you have pizza you usually have Two slices . first .

I think The Joker is establishing or at the very least forshadowing Two-face's
obsession with the number 2 .

I've been told specifically by people involved in the movie that Sal Maroni's trial is in the film, and that Maroni, Rossi, Dent, and 5 of Maroni's Henchmen are present in the scene which was described to me as "chaotic." He couldn't tell me much, because of his confidentiality agreement. I don't know what else it would be, plus if you add that to the casting sides and what Eckhart and Eric Roberts have said, it seems extremely likely thats how it is going to play out. I think the shots of Gordon are of the GDP Station explosion, actually. I could be wrong, but thats what it looks like to me. Gordon knows that Loeb, and his fellow officers are in the building, which would cause the same reaction from him as if it were Dent.

I always thought it was because Two-Face could be called a Pizza-Face. :o

I've been looking online trying to find out who the actor is that plays in the new clip talking to Harvey. I haven't had any luck and it's driving me nuts. Anybody else know who he is? I've definitely seen him a time or two in movies, but they weren't real big roles. Come on, help a brother from going insane, please? :)

I'm pretty sure its John Snowden. He's credited as "Detective" in the movie.

Shave his head and add a few years, and I think that's him.

Yeah, I already check IMDB, but that guy doesn't look nothing like him. I don't think he's credited on IMDB yet.
