Harvey Dent's Eye.

Okay, i know it might get closed, but let's give this a try.

So, i have been looking at some images of Two-Face.

I'll use this as example.

As you all see, Harvey's left (our right) eye is almost popping out of his head.

The thing is, he cannot seem to close that eye.

So what i want to ask: Won't he get blind on one side? Because if you do not close your eyes, they become dehydrated which leads to blindness.

Hi, I really think you should have posted this in the Harvey Dent/Two-Face thread. I think a mod should come along and close this, or merge it with that thread.

Yes, his eye would dry up and die. Not to mention with those wounds and exposed flesh, he'd get an infection and die anyway.

This is a comic. Not everything completely obeys the laws of physics and common sense. Don't get me wrong, comics need versimilitude and a dash of realism, but not to the point where everything a bit fantastic gets tossed out because it "wouldn't work in real life". Harvey is a bad-ass villain with a great look, the fact a normal person would just die from that kind of damage is completely unimportant.

I'm sure he's probably blind in that eye anyway. I mean, he did have ACID thrown into it.

I'n "Dark Detective" we see him using eye drops, so he's lubricating them himself. There's gels for that.

I've always kind of assumed he was blind in that eye. I like it when he's drawn sans pupil in it like you'd see in a real artifically blind eye.
