has any comic made you cry or come close to crying

Definately. The boy who collected Spider-Man, and more recently the Flash Thompson issue.

No not really. When Catwoman had to give up her baby that was pretty sad.

I felt really bad for Blackbolt at the end of Silent War.

EVERY time i read Spider-man 75, the issue where ben reilly dies, i get tears in my eyes.

The Boy Who Collects Spider-Man really had an impact on me when I read it. Maybe not outright crying, but certainly got a wee tightness at the back of my throat.

Ditto for Aunt May's death during the Clone Wars. One of the most beautiful, touching farewells to a character I've ever read. So of course Marvel had to retcon it, throwing the baby out with the stinking Clone Wars bathwater.

I haven't cried in years, but if I could cry over a comic book, it would probably be "The Kid Who Collects Spider-Man." No matter how times I read it, that last page is always like a punch to the gut.

I tear up for a lot of the Captain America stuff.

Like a tear may begin to form in my eye ..its not like I boo-hoo or anything.

Yeah, Y the last man. When [blackout]355 died.[/blackout] I admits it! I cried like a b***h.

Amazing Spider-Man #121 when Spidey is holding Gwen, dead, in his arms and telling her, "But I saved you..."

So sad :(

The ending of "Hulk: The End" makes me pretty sad

I'll check these soon

The Kid who Collects Spider-Man, the Death of Aunt May and the death of Captain America and the death of Superman all had a lurchin' effect on me.

Never did. Not even in books.

The end of Y the Last Man was a bummer. That's probably the closest I've come to being choked up by a comic. I don't know, comics in general don't normally have that kind of effect on me.

I recall being a little choked up after I read Spider-Man: Blue.

Damn. That is sad as hell. What a bummer.

Makes me even more bummed out about MJ and Parker "breaking up" or whatever.

I'm not as huge a fan of this issue as most, but the scene in the 9/11 issue where Spidey holds back the kid who just found out his Dad died. That scene gets me every time.

Holy crap, I just read that Spidey issue, "The Kid Who Collected Spider-Man" and damn -- it was really sad.

Bendis should write an issue where he returns as a cyborg and because he knows everything about Spidey he could track him down and kill him.

That would be sweet.

The death of Captain Marvel
if that book doesn't bring a tear to your eye, then you don't have a soul.

Death of Aunt May
Death of Harry Osborn
ASM 9/11 Issue
