Has anyone seen this Arkham Trailer?

I love it

"We're all mad you're mad I'm mad...."

I like the viral newspapers on the cell wall.

Touch of the viral fever here - Dents number is 0751 and Unknowns is 0801. Can anybody read the scrawl on the film right after the smiley face appears? Looks like it says something. I don't know how to go frame by frame.

Yes! I hope they make this into a short fan film!

Wait...this is a movie? Why is it in CGI?

Man, I'm confused right now.

You've never seen an animated movie before?
Yeah, but I don't know how well it will work for a Batman movie. It looks good for Disney movies, but I would much rather have a regular animated film, then full-CGI. Not a big deal, just asking.

I didn't know if this was just an extension to the videogame coming out, or something totally different. That's why I'm confused right now.:cwink:

Its just a fan film. By a VERY talented fan! I'm actually excited for this dark full CGI Batman movie! Sadly, I dont think we'll ever see anything more than this trailer. =\

Its fan made but Warner Premiere is releasing it, so that could sorta make it official

Yes they are.

It's going to be a part of the animated movies line-up for WP(Warner Premiere) and DC.

Go on the Wikpedia page, it's set to be released in 2010.

The director, Paul B. Frieling, made it as a short fan film at first, but somehow it got the attention of DC comics and Warner Bros. I'm actually glad it's going into DVD and Blu-Ray just because I would like to see it without going on YouTube, lol.

...where did you hear that?

I heard this has nothing to do with Nolan's films.

No, this is not being released by Warner Bros. It is and will remain a fan project. Hell, ever since Grayson, WB pretty much are against fan-movies from what I've heard.

Wikipedia? Oh yeah, that's a reliable source.
:facepalm

Some people only believe what they want to believe.

Wikipedia, is, a matter of fact, a very reliable source. Perhaps you just don't find out the right things, or maybe you go to wikipedia.com.

But, yes, I can assure you that in summer of 2010, this movie will be out on DVD and Blu-ray.

Wikipedia has never been wrong to me, mind you.

Plus...

so many people use the Picard face, and it's very idiotic.

Why do I even bother....

Anyways, I realised that I haven't commented on the trailer itself yet. I really liked it, even if the voice-work could use a little...well work. I really loved the camera tilt thing too.

hahaha.

That is funny. This is just a small sample of animation for some guy to put on his reel. Or maybe he just did it for fun. But that scenario of WB and DC picking a fan made animated short and turning it into a real animated movie is nice, but would NEVER happen in the real world.

No. It's not.

I just started writing a full length script for it. Not going to say much, but it’s going to be kind of a cross between Arkham Asylum: Serious House on a Serious Earth and the No Man’s Land story arc. Hopefully one day I can get the rights and budget to make it.

Until that happens, we won't see this thing.

I've seen this before & it is extremely well done. Love the graphics & the voice acting!
