It's a simple concept but I love reading Kirkman's Walking Dead series. I've always loved movies like Dawn of the Dead or 28 Days Later that attempt to explore a world trying to cope with zombies. Has there ever been a TV show on this subject? It seems like someone would have attempted it by now. I know I'd watch it! I imagine it wouldn't cost all that much, and would make for quality viewing. It doesn't have to follow Kirkman's script (although I'd love to watch it), it's not hard to create a world full of zombies and the human aftermath. With all the recent sci-fi and Lost clones, it just seems like its time to give us a drawn out Dawn of the Dead on TV.
