Pretty self explanatory. Either completely falling asleep or even just feeling drowsy.

I have once, I was watching 'Fracture' with Anthony Hopkins.

well sure, but not because of the movie.

I fell asleep a couple times during Quantum of Solace.

Oh yeah

Hulk 2003
POTC 3

Bourne Ultimatum, but that was in a car ride and I was already half asleep

I cannot imagine falling asleep to a movie just because of the movie itself. You'd have to already be really tired before going in.

ha, that's kind of strange. It's short and mostly a bunch of action sequences
I think walking around Manhattan for 8 or so hours had something to do with it. The middle of QoS was a tad slow, too.

Only due to being really over-tired, never due to boredom or questionable filmmaking. I used to work 6am shifts five days a week and 8am the other two, so sometimes night-time movie watching was tougher than I would've liked.

From what I can recall, I zonked out during The Prince of Egypt, The Wild Bunch and Ironweed. However, after snapping to, I rewound them to the point of where I blanked and rewatched, so as not to miss anything.

*All were at home. I can't imagine falling asleep in a theatre. Although my friend's mom did during Star Trek: The Motion Picture. I can understand that one, though.

When i was a kid id go to the movie wih my sis and wed usually get the night shows so id usually fall asleep

*theater* ex Contact The Peacemaker( George Clooney flick),Hero( i was older by this time but man was this movie slow, alrite movie tho), etc.

*At Home* only movies i can remember rite now are Pathfinder and No Country For Old Men,

im sure there are more

During The Shadow with Alec Baldwin, but only because I was tired. It's an awesome movie btw.

Has anyone ever suffered a panic attack during a movie? That **** is scary as hell. It's a good thing I had an aisle seat otherwise it would have been bad. It was during Sin City.

That's what I think too....I fell asleep in a couple, but I was working 3rd shift at the time, and took my kid to see some matinees of things like Yu Ghi Oh and Pokemon....I figured sleeping was a good way to spend the time.

At home i've fallen asleep during plenty of movies, but mostly because I watch them later at night.

As for the theater, I fell asleep during Star Trek Generations when I was like 5. As for more recently, when I was 16 or 17, I fell asleep during Elektra. Fell asleep about 30 minutes in. Woke up 45 mintues later and thought "Wtf is going on???"

Honestly, I'd be pissed if I fell asleep during a movie in the theater. I paid money to sit there and watch it. I'd be damned if I didn't.

Yeah I get random panic attacks every now and again. Last time I got one was right before TF2. Walked out for about 5 minutes before the film started and went to the bathroom and splashed some water on my face and paced around a bit. My nerves are shot from stress over the years I guess. Only started getting panic attacks the last couple years, never had them before then.

As for the OP's question.

I fall asleep all the time when I put movies on at home at night because it's when I'm getting settled into bed. Like Episode29 said, I'll usually zonk out or a minute or so then rewind so I don't miss anything.

Only time I ever fell asleep during a movie at the theatre was The Matrix. Only nodded off once or twice for a minute or two at a time. It was because I was incredibly tired and went into that film expecting non stop action for some reason. I think it was the hype from some of my friends plus the trailers of course mainly showing action.

Titanic. I wasn't sleepy going into it. It just sucked that bad.

Troy and POTC2 on the other hand were the midnight premieres.

I've fallen asleep during alot of them, mainly movies I've seen before & put on before I went to bed. But the only times I've fallen asleep during 'Hancock' & POTC3 without seeing them before.

I've never fallen asleep during a movie in the theaters though.

I fell asleep during the 2003 Hulk movie at a drive in theatre. Normally that kind of thing keeps me up and captivated, especially with all the cars around you with all their back doors open and all their radios on the same station turned up to full volume. That's how I saw Spider-Man 2 opening night and it was freaking insane!

I started to get dreary around when they capture him in San Francisco, and by the time they had him chained up across from his dad, I was out. I remember waking up just barely in time to see the ending in the jungle.

My dad can't last through a movie without sleeping. Whether it's at home or a theatre, he can't do it. It sucks cause I love watching movies with him...or at least parts of them.

It was depressing that one day I came home from work to hear him raving about how The Incredible Hulk (2008) was the best Marvel hero movie he'd seen yet and that he'd watched it with my brother from beginning to end. At least they got to enjoy it.

same here. the only movie i have ever fallen asleep through, throughout the 2 hours i was there was really fantasia 2000 which i believe i saw it in the imax with my family. other than that ive only felt drowsy or it was just late at night to begin with.

I fell asleep when I went to go see Big Fish. It was late at night and I had a headache.

Only once. I was nine years old and it was like my fifth time seeing Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.... I dont have any idea why I wanted to see that so many times...

Never at the theater. A couple times on DVD's though. It was Pathfinder.

I also fell asleep both times I tried to watch HULK (2003) on DVD.

In the middle of Matrix Revolutions and woke up thinking why Neo was blinded all of a sudden.

also during Duplicity but that's because of Julia Roberts, isn't it obvious?
